Mom my mom was Brought here 5 days ago.. we have been pending an echo and have yet to receive one. We won't be discharged until the echo is completed. Why is it taking 4 days to get one. I will say all the nurses and staff have been great . I been coming to this hospital for 10 year never an issue. Very frustrating

First and foremost, the nurses in the labor/ delivery ward and NICU are saints. We loved our time with them. Every single nurse was excellent. Caring and loving do not do them justice, they were so much more.
Now, the reason for the low review. Staffing of cleaning staff is grossly inadequate. This is not a lack of care by the existing staff. They do care. This is a lack of staff in general. There is more work than there is workers. We were required to stay in the labor ward for 2 days and not one time was our garbage emptied or our floors cleaned. Even after having large amounts of blood dropped on floor. And the garbage cans being overflowing with refuse and bloody cloths. Every public restroom had overflowing garbage to the point of it just sitting in the floor like an episode of hoarders. I used the same public restroom for two days while my wife was recovering and the garbage was overflowing the entire time.
Again, the nurse staff was amazing. Anyone patient would be lucky to have them. The hospital however is cutting far too many corners with general cleanliness and staffing for cleaning. I think I may have saw 2 persons the entire 3 days I was here with my wife actually cleaning something. Paper and trash all over the floor in common areas.
The hospitals board of directors need to have a come to Jesus with themselves and decide if they truly care about this hospitals reputation and ability to provide services that go above and beyond.

In patient nursing care was almost nonexistant. Failed to timely give me my meds so I took the ones I brought from home. Had horrible experience with pre-surgery nurse who could not find a vein for an IV port. I have great veins and never have had an issue before. She held my hand in her lap instead of placing it on a table or something with support. My arm ended up with multiple holes and looked horrible for several weeks after surgery. On discharge day they could not find a hospital Dr(on call) to sign my release. Took several hours to be discharged.

for some reason, they could not get my meds right. I provided an updated med list but they kept reverting to an old one and repeatedly try to give a med I haven't been on in months. Some of the nurses were absolutely amazing. Then there were others... After shift change, I did not even meet my nurse until 4 hours after the shift change. Requested help to go to the bathroom and it took them over an hour to come.
Some were very responsive and helpful. If it wasn't for them, I would never return to this hospital.
