First and foremost I am NOT a fan of writing reviews, especially a negative review. However, what I just experienced this morning should be known. “I’m sure no one in corporate Would will even care about my situation/frustration”. I had purchased a delta shower head, and I realize that it was the wrong part. Granted it was over the 90 day policy ( I’m disabled i’ve been having some health issues) which I had no knowledge of 90 day policy, the cashier Craig nice guy, explained to me that it was there on the board with tiny, tiny type. I see no 90 day policy on my receipt. I asked Craig if I could please speak to a manager some guy (short man syndrome), I forgot his name, he didn’t even budge to help me. He literally said it’s 90 days and then he just walked away. That does not help my situation at all. So then another manager comes his name was Alfred, He was a lot nicer and he explained to me that the policy was 90 days and therefore the computer would not accept the return. I explain to Alfred that I understood however, me being in business, I understand that certain cases need certain approaches. So then I went to my vehicle I called Lowe’s customer service. Some lady named Barbara answered. She came across kind of short with me, after I explain my situation, my health condition, and that I’ve been out of commission due to my disability. it’s obvious that Barbara does not have any health condition or maybe no one in her family has issues, there for I would be better off talking to the wall. she told me like seven times over and over and over about the policy. I told her I understand policy however, I understand that there are times with certain cases that you can do maneuver and go around to satisfy the client. After I explain to her, how I’ve been a loyal client to Lowe’s for over 20 yrs, she would not budge on helping a loyal client. She explained to me over and over that the policy was the policy. I kindly ask her to speak with her supervisor (i’m sure she went and told her supervisor that I was being an A-HOLE while rolling her eyes, which I really wasn’t. I’m just looking for assistance.) Mr. Philip ID #114389. Philip also would NOT BUDGE on helping a loyal client. I asked Mr. Philip that the $55 Delta showerhead, I told him I would take store credit (i’m going to spend it back there I go there quite often) however, he told me that the best he could do was to knock off $20. However I had to go through all kinds of certain hoops on the Internet. I’m an old school person, not too savvy with all that stuff. He told me that I was the best that he could do for me. By this time he was just as frustrated with me as I was with them. I explain to Philip that it blows my mind that they would rather lose a loyal client who spends hundreds, thousands of dollars with them. He would rather lose a loyal client over A $55 hiccup. every company has ways of satisfying clients on certain cases. I know that for a fact. where I work the dealership. We do it at certain cases (it’s a case by case ) you take care of the good loyal clients, it’s a no-brainer. I’ve got a large family tree contractor, that we all do business at Lowe’s. (after this experience) i’ll make sure to tell them about Lowes operates and so much for their slogan about “satisfying the client”. Really irks me that now I have to drive further out to Home Depot to get what I need all because of a $55 hiccup. I thought about calling back and speaking with another representative, However I’m sure I would get another cold shoulder. Mr. Philip and Barbara, thank you for throwing away 20+ years of business. ???????

I went in and my intentions was to get some assistance in signing in for the reward program. There was no one in line so I asked Craig if he could help me only to have him hand me a pamphlet with how to sign in. He didn't bother to help me. He had the attitude like not my problem you go figure it out. I could understand if there was a long line. Management needs to emphasis we are here to satisfy the customer and not do the minimal. Hope management reads this and place employees who care about the customers.

It’s a sad day when someone has shopped at this Bandera Rd location at least every other day since it opened and gets treated like a criminal. I went in today to pick up 4 lawnmowers and a few small items, after being instructed to pay for the mowers first then bring the receipt back to lawn and garden so they can get them down from the top shelves and load them for me. I went to the front with the lawnmower price tags and the 5 other items I was purchasing and started ringing everything up at self checkout since there wasn’t a register open with an employee. While ringing up the items the person watching over the self checkout made me very uncomfortable, this person came up very close on my right side to watch me then walked in back of me and started looking over my left shoulder area then walked back to their normal standing spot then came back over to me and started hovering again. When I finally had enough of this rude experience I turned my head towards the person and said "I don’t want any of these things now, you’ve made me uncomfortable so I’m leaving. After walking outside I decided to go back in and say goodbye to the employees I’ve dealt with and let them know why I’m no longer shopping at Lowes, I also stopped at customer service to ask for a number too call so I could explain to management why as a customer I no longer want to shop there, well that was a joke because the employee who upset me initially had already run over to customer service and said something about me to them, once I asked the gentleman in customer service who to call he was already rude and in defense mode so his attitude towards me was horrible no matter how polite I was and that’s upsetting because I always thought the guy was nice until I actually needed his assistance. I still needed the 4 Toro mowers that I was going to buy at Lowes so before driving to another Lowe’s I did a quick search online and found 4 at the True Value in Bandera Texas so I drove there to avoid giving Lowe’s any money, I’m glad I did because the same mowers were $50 less per mower. It was nice but sad at the same time when two employees from Lowe’s called me shortly after I left and asked what the heck happened and what they could do to make it right, after explaining to them how truly uncomfortable I was made by the cashier person and the customer service representative I spoke with that there wasn’t much they could do to make it right at this time. I will say it was nice to receive the calls from the 2 department heads that always help me out when I came into Lowe’s, the others I had already said goodbye to. Maybe I’ll one day shop this Lowe’s location but not while it’s run by current management.

I thought i was getting brand new mower. It was to my shock that when I opened the box there was fresh grass from the previous buyer. I just paid full price for a used item. Not even the courtesy to clean it before selling it again! I don't even know if this comes with the correct amount of bolts to reassemble. Just very disappointed. I expected better.
