The workers there go above and beyond to help you, they have so much patience with the customers, even the not so friendly customers. So many beautiful things inside, love coming to this shop every time.

Just because someone walks in and doesn't match what you imagine would be fluent in Spanish doesn't mean you should talk bad about the people in your store in Spanish.Very unkind and grumpy people behind the counter. Fake to the customers who come up to their counter.

This shop offers a little bit of everything from clothing, to Knick knacks. If you like jewelry this place probably has the biggest variety in the market. If you're looking for tourist tshirts they don't have a large selection. Upstairs they have traditional Mexican clothing for women in all price ranges. I bought one that's $25. I also saw some that were $160+. It seems like there's something for everyone. Sometimes this market place turns into a festival with live music and street vendors. If you don't like Crowds and loud music make sure you check if a festival is going on that day.

I can’t wait to go back! The staff was above and beyond accommodating. The selection and quality of Talevera was the best we found in the area, justifying the higher prices on some items. Many unique pieces. The Market is fun in general, but I will never skip this shop when I am there. Thank you again to the overworked staff.

Great (large) shop across from La Margarita’s. We stop by each time we are in town. We have gotten several nativities, shirts, and hats over the years. Good place to walk around with a huge selection.

The owner is nothing but a thief. She will NOT replace an item that is damaged due to her lack of packaging!

9.15.19 @ 2:15pm There was a woman covering lunchtime for the employee in the street area of Los Pueblitos where I had bought a hat the day before. The hat was stolen when I set it down at one of the Missions. I now wanted to buy another one. When I asked if she could grant me a discount since basically I was buying 2 of the same hats & often stores may offer a slight discount for multiple purchases. There was no harm in me asking, realizing she could go either way. It wasn't that she said no, it was her arrogant and demeaning attitude. She asserted she was "one of the managers" and I hope with the details I've provided, the other managers can call her on her really cruddy attitude. I went to a different store. They lost a customer, & I will let other visitors know about the rudeness at Los Pueblitos.

This is a business in the Mercado section of downtown San Antonio, so you know they do not rely on repeat customers. I live only around 45 minutes away, so I do go to this area occasionally. I recently purchased a beautiful handpainted Mexican mirror and sink for my bathroom. I admit the store did a fine job of bubble wrapping these items and they were in good shape when I got home with them. At home, I laid the mirror glass side up on our very large vanity in our guest bath. This is a household with two adults and no children, and there is no way anything could have fallen on this mirror. The next morning we discovered the mirror had a large crack that extended the entire length of the mirror. Upon examination, we determined the crack was due to stress; there was not enough support in the "frame" of the mirror to support a glass that size and weight. I called the store to ask them if they would split the cost of have new glass put in this mirror along with more support to keep it from cracking again. I feel the lack of support is a defect in this mirror. The sales lady on the phone was very pleassant and said she would have a manager call me. No call ever came, so I tried again...no call. I decided to dispute this charge with Mastercard. The agent from Mastercard put me on a three-way call with the store. Now, I didn't really expect they would help me out with this because how do they really know I didn't damage the mirror...but when I talked to the store about this, I really got some attitude from the person on the other end of the line. I told her I would pay to have the glass replaced in this mirror and added support put in the back, but because of her instant bad attitude toward me, I would also give her a less than glowing yelp review. I sure she really doesn't care...
