From their website: "The Exchange serves an eligible customer base of 33.5 million active-duty military; retirees; National Guard members; Reservists; Purple Heart recipients; former prisoners of war; Veterans with service-connected disabilities; caregivers of eligible disabled Veterans designated by the Department of Veterans Affairs as primary family caregivers; non-disabled, honorably discharged Veterans (online only); authorized Public Health Service associates; authorized National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration associates; Coast Guard members; DoD and Coast Guard civilian employees; and military family members."
Prices, selection, and service are average, compared to the private sector. Usually you can find items about the same price as elsewhere but you don't pay taxes on them, and they price match if you have a store ad.
But, these facilities are due for an upgrade. As another reviewer mentioned, this store should be among the top in the department of defense; since this is the place we're the great majority of families and new members first encounter with the Military life. Sadly is not.

It serves its purpose and you cam usually find a good deal, but there is a roach infestation in the bathroom and seem to be coming from the drain.
