This is the best veterans I’ve been to. I am now bringing all four of my pets to them. They don’t give you services you don’t need and they make sure your babies are safe and comfortable. I love the services we receive here.

I found this abandoned baby kitten at 2 weeks old. I didn’t think she had a fighting chance but the staff and doctor were so knowledgeable and kind that she’s made a full bounce back. I owe them for saving this little kitty. You can’t put a price on it (but they’re very inexpensive and are upfront about any charges before they perform any procedures. Thanks to everyone at Kirby Family Vet for saving my little baby.

Kirbt Family Vet provided care, courtesy, and thoroughness, and discovered a wound under Blackie's (cat) armpit. Their care and cleaning of it completely fixed Blackie's issue. He is back to his normal self and has that pep in his step again. Well done!

We have been going to Kirby Family Vet for almost 4 years now and they have always been really good with my dog. I had a senior dog that was almost 17 when I had to make that dreadful decision to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge and they were so supportive and let me be with him and gave me so much support. When his ashes came back they presented them to me with so much love and compassion. My current dog is always so happy to see everyone at the office and she is always treated so well when we go in for her appointments that there is never any sign of fear shown which means she is totally comfortable with her surroundings.

We lost Rosie today. She was always highly food-motivated, so when she started refusing food, we knew something was amiss. She was in and out of our vet’s office in Fort Worth three times in the last couple of weeks, then we left town.
We chose Kirby Family Vet in San Antonio, strictly by who Google told us was closest. We hit the jackpot, so to speak. They were so very caring and sympathetic and took good care of Rosie in her last minutes.
I hate losing fur babies.

ZERO STARS!! NEVER AGAIN! I just left this place. I have never had an issue with my dog being seen at any of the Vets I have taken her to, even at Petsmart! So these four YES FOUR vets decided to lay my dog on her side to trim her nails which is totally fine but with any little movement my dog made two of them thought is was okay to lay down with all their weight on her torso and neck! NOT OKAY and of course that would freak any dog out and try to wiggle ther way out from under them! I am very angry at this I literally yelled through the door for them to get off of her, to please do not do that and to just stop if they can't trim her nails without freaking her out by laying on top of her! My dog was so frightened she peed and pooped! Oh my god so upsetting. They apologized and said that's the way the do things. Not today and not to my pet! Totally unnecessary. They better pray they didn't cause any injuries to my dog!

Excellent care. Friendly staff. Short wait times. My rescue dogs and my cat have done great with the staff from day one. This has been my Vet Clinic and my parents before me, for many years
