Hello, I recently moved here to Texas, I love wearing Senegalese…. I had my hair braided by another Salon that I wasnt pleased with, spent over $200 just to take them down in a week very upset… but then I googled another salon to find this one Kady, I went spoke to the manager made the appointment and when I went back the manager herself end up braiding my hair, I am very satisfied and safe to say I have found my African hair Braider… Check this Salon if you’re like me very picky when it come to your hair. They have different prices depending on the size and length u want so u know what you paying before you sit in the chair. #youwantbedissappointed?

I’ve always had great experiences when booking with Kady’s. I’ve been coming to this salon for over 5 yrs and I’m always happy with my results. Ami (manager) she’s my main braider and is very professional, always on time, and delivers great results. I love that the booking process is very simple and easy and no deposits are required. I would recommend everyone to book all of your braiding needs with Kady, specifically Ami. But all of the braiders are great, she’s my fav and she’s fast!

Stylist: Miss Amy is 1st chair, and she's been doing my braids for at least five years. Miss Khadijah {2nd chair} has done my single lacing multi colored tree braids & they were beautiful. Miss Shelly @ Ingram can't be left out either. She did the prettiest asymmetrical braided Bob on me last summer. Kady's staff is kind and respectful, and these ladies have gifted fingers. I'll always recommend them.

I asked for a knotless boho bob, she told me shoulder length was 260. By time I got done it was 310. Then she took the curly part that is suppose to be on the braid and also added it to the end, which made it very puffy. Anyone who truly know’s how to do boho knows that the end of the braid is curled with rollers and dipped, which she didn’t do. It looks nothing like the pic I showed her numerous times. Im just really upset that I paid 310 for something that I probably will take down. People don’t have money to just throw up in the air because all you care about is the money. I could’ve went to Heidi and Jojo and let them slay me but no, I decided to take a chance on Kady’s. I will never go back and please find someone who really wants to see happy customers leave happy with their service instead of someone who just don’t care. I went to the Walzem location. Below is what I asked for verses what I got. Oh and she said I couldn’t get a bob because my hair length, which is a little past my shoulders, which is where I wanted my braids to be!
Update: who ever told you i called and cussed at them is a lie. I have witnesses that was around me when I called you just for this main reason. So please stop lying on me. 2nd What you don’t understand it has nothing to do with the hair, it was the way it was braided. Instead of using the 1-2 pieces of curly hair, she also added it to the bottom and that’s is not how it supposed to be braided. I gave u a pic of what I wanted and no matter what kind of hair was brought, it wouldn’t have mattered because your only putting 1-2 curls. The hair would matter when it’s added to the bottom, instead of curling the end and dipping it in hot water. Please stop lying on me because if it was my fault I have no problem taking that loss but that’s not what happened here. Plus, you’ll NEVER asked to re-do my hair. I had already took it down and had to pay to get it redone. You think people is going to pay 310.00 take it down, pay to get it redone the right way just to be lying on you’ll, That really don’t make sense. For anyone reading this please check reviews because they are true, if you have been done like this before, please do your research, things can be done. We work to hard for anyone to just come and take our money.

Appointment started on time, hair was completed in a timely manner, no long breaks or interruptions. The work was of good quality, the only thing I recommend if there is going to be constant chatter speak english so everyone understands and the shop should open at 8am. Overall good experience.

First time at this braiding shop and very happy with my cornrows. Amy did my braids, chair 1- she was so pleasant to talk to and she answered all my questions and gave me the style I wanted. I plan on seeing Amy again. Thank you for taking care of me tonight!

Very disappointed with the service and my full sewins at the windcrest location. The Lace was never layed down, cut properly or sewed in. Unprofessional service, stylist was on the phone the whole time. I paid 165 including tips, not worth it....

Today was my second time visiting this location. I booked with the manager in chair one, but was braided by another braided. The Senegalese twist were great , but my crochet isn't as great. However, my greatest concern is that the prices on their website don't reflect what they charge. I showed the braider their price list from their booking website and she refused to honor the price list that the customer see when booking. She showed me a different price list on her phone and told me they don't control the prices. The manager, in chair one did nothing to help. While the prices may have changed ( $130/$140 on sites, but charged $150) should be updated on the booking site and the spreadsheet on the website. Additionally, the braider was either blaring a family group chat or listening to something on speaker phone for roughly 45 minutes. It was a huge distraction and doesn't allow you to relax while having services rendered.

I like that they are professional and they do a good job. You can your appointment online and they have a few locations. They supply the hair unless you wanting a goddess style then you may need to bring the goddess.
The Ingram location is good as well.

I've been a loyal customer for probably 8 + years now. My auntie in Houston Texas actually referred me the first time. I don't request any braider specifically as I've never had a bad experience. I generally find a picture for inspiration on google or Pinterest & they nail it every time, the ladies are very attentive & efficient. (Without them I swear I would've put a perm in my head again 6 years ago cause doing my own hair is so raggedy.) Thank you Kady for all that you provide & helping me thrive on my natural hair care journey. 8+ years & counting.
