I always have a good experience shopping at Jerry's! The staff is always attentive and the store itself just invokes inspiration. I can't go in without wanting to try a new medium or grabbing an interesting size canvas or paper. And the prices feel fair and accessible.

I had such a great experience today at this store! George patiently helped me with all of my questions (and inexperience), while simultaneously sharing some of the history of Jerry's Artarama as he greeted each customer who walked through the door, even jumping up at one point to rush to hold the door open for someone in a wheelchair, even though there were other family members with him who probably could've held the door for him. George's knowledge is impressive, and I learned a lot from him today. I also learned that he does a lot for the community, even the four-legged citizens. That says it all in my book! I will definitely be a frequent repeat customer, especially if George is around to help! I only wish they offered classes, because I sure could use a good instructor! Thanks for all the help today, George!

Omg my daughter and I just got back from this place and it was an AWESOME experience. My daughter is taking a ART class for her first year in college and she didn't know what she needed, so Alejandra came to our rescue, She helped My daughter with everything on her list. There were other employees that also helping her out too. Great Team Work!I also like that they give students a discount. ? My daughter said she can't wait to go back. ? I'm glad we came here after we could not finding anything at Michaels. Thanks again for everything. They also have GREAT PRICES!

Love this place! Had everything I needed and couldn't find at Michael's or Office Depot. I guess it turns out I had to go to a real art store, and this is it! So helpful too!

As a frequent customer , I feel the staff can use some training on customer service. Their tone and demeanor lacks and is quite short and cold. They always seem on edge and detached. I do feel the products there are exactly what I need, and hope reading this review they are enlightened with a customers concerns.

Jerrys has stood above the rest not only in pricing but in the way they treat there customers. If you need help anyone of the people there will know something if not everything about what you're looking into. Whether you're a new artist getting into art or an established professional. You can always find something great and affordable here! I've saved so much money with the vip card and sales!

Jerry’s Artarama is a great place in San Antonio. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Alejandra, one of the employees, is a great artist in her own right, and when I had a question about a specific painting technique, she was able to provide detailed instructions as well as brush recommendations. They have a huge inventory and great prices! I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I’ve been going here since my first year of college, which was 6 years ago! Before Jerry’s, I use to shop for my art supplies at Michael’s Craft store. Once I got introduced to Jerry’s Artarama while taking an art class at northwest vista, I never shopped for art supplies at Michael’s again. Jerry’s has not only more options for all art lovers but they have knowledgeable staff that know their materials from painting to colored pencils and beyond. The prices are very good for the fact that you get a VIP card of discounts and many other sales they have all the time. Michael’s hardly has that kind of reputation for art supplies. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Thanks guys for always being helpful and making sure i get the art supplies I need! Go Jerry’s!

Great place to get art supplies it has such a large selection and everyone there is so helpful for someone just starting out like me. One of the workers there in particular I believe she said she was a manager although I unfortunately didn't catch her name was so helpful with me and had great recommendations of what I should look into getting that was within my budget and I ended up leaving with some supplies that I'm looking forward to starting out my art journey with :)

Yeah it's a good art store but maybe you should just let people shop without following them around and asking several times if they need help after they said no maybe you would of sold more

Good selection, decent sales and the staff is pretty good but the manager is impatient.Im glad I see that I am not the only one after reading other reviews . I asked questions to try and be a happy customer that was not wasting time and money but I left feeling unhappy about the experience.They need another Jerrys in town with a manager that is more personable.

Jerry's has a wide array of products. However, customer service was lacking. They made me feel unwelcome and treated me like a criminal. I had to hand over my backpack to the cashier for her to keep it over the counter. I never had to do that at Asel's. I was not assisted with finding the items that I needed and had to hunt for them myself.Since Asel's is closing, I guess I'll shop at Herweck's from now on.

This is a very well-stocked art supply store. There's a lot good supplies you really can't get anywhere else. Prices range from high to low on a variety of things. Some basic things are cheaper at a Michaels store and other things you can only find and buy there. A good store overall, but I haven't been back there in 4 years because some of the staff treats you as a criminal. They think you're going to steal supplies so they watch you like a hawk. They need to work on their customer service. Because, there are plenty of other art stores in the city.
