This location is becoming my favorite! Every time I have gone, the associates are so welcoming! ?? Today during the trunk show, I was assisted by both Cheyanne and Amaya and they were simply amazing! I am absolutely disappointed in the Woodlake Crossing James Avery located on 6914 FM-78 Unit 101 San Antonio, TX 78244 team lead Shoshana and store manager Anna, who were discriminative against my friend who is African-American. My friend, family and I have been coming to the Woodlake Crossing James Avery located on 6914 FM-78 Unit 101 San Antonio, TX 78244 for 3 years, and have spent over a thousand dollars here just between me and my friend, so not even including our families. A few months ago I was told that I could trade in one of my necklaces for a certain amount of money to go towards a different necklace, because after I had the necklace for 2 years the necklace was bending like it was made of rubber and it was discontinued so I couldn't get it replaced. My friend who is African-American who BOUGHT me the necklace took it up to THIS James Avery to get the certain amount of money put towards a different necklace she had already picked out for me. Well to both of our surprises the team lead Shoshana and store manager Anna explained to my friend who is African-American that since the necklace wasn't on her account and she did not have proof of purchase that she could not trade it in to go towards a different necklace and that they could not do anything to help her. Once I was told this I immediately called the store since I know what I was told and my friend was there when we were told this. I happened to get to speak to Shoshana, who helped my friend and she said that I would be able to get 50% of the necklace which is $45 to go towards a different necklace. She didn't verify the necklace was on my account, or that I had proof of purchase of the necklace both were never mentioned to me, but made sure to tell my friend both of those things and to say she couldn't help her. I don't know why this simple transaction was turned into an issue just because the person who brought the necklace up to the store first is African-American but it was obviously about her race. This is unacceptable and disgusting that James Avery hires employees who would racially profile a person of color for trying to replace a discontinued necklace that they purchased 2 years ago that is bending like rubber because it was cheaply made, when they were told they would be allowed to and that their caucasian friend who didn't even purchase the necklace had to call to get the situation resolved. This transaction should have been handled at the store like a normal transaction not based on the color of someone's skin. My friend should have not been disrespected and made to feel like a criminal over a raggedy piece of jewelry that can be proven to be a James Avery item.

Stopped in to look for a specific piece. They were sold out. That's ok, it happens.The problem came when an associate told me that all of the other locations in San Antonio were sold out of that piece too. A quick Google search showed that NO other locations were sold out of that piece. I won't be returning to this location.

The nicest staff and very helpful. Cleaned and added 2 charms on my bracelet, replaced earring clasps and cleaned a ring all done in about 2 hours!Love this store!
