I did my taxes at this H&R Block about a year ago, and little did I know the amount of anguish and disgust could I have for such an institution than when I did my taxes there. As the taxes were originally filed, they said we owed the IRS an amount that did not make sense from the get-go. They forgot to do due diligence and add very important information which VASTLY changed how much would be owed by us from the IRS. And in trying to contact them to amend the form, they merely denied and gave EMPTY PROMISES to alleviate the situation. I have been consistently trying for the past year to fix this issue, and so I went to the IRS office myself and confirmed their mistake. Even after trying to place an appointment, their associates merely dismissed our claim and gave roundabout explanations for THEIR mistake. I STILL have not received the guaranteed return of service fee from H&R Block despite trying for so long. Please do not go to this location, and do not have Salvador as your tax preparer.

Went in to get our taxes done, we sat down with Stephen Ladson had the worst incounter. Doesn't inspire confidence that your taxes will be done correctly. We explained we had life events happen that would require more than just standard w2s, but we didnt know what he needed. To that he just said "documents, i don't know what do you have" and he staired at us blankly at random times like he doesn't know what he Is doing. Tax time is already stressful so you pay someone to do it for you. We ended up walking out because we had an incompetent tax guy. UNPROFESSIONAL. Negative attitude.

It was my first time in an h&r block in a very very long time it's been years to tell you truth and even after so many years I chose a good office like this one because the tax pro was so wonderful explain everything the way I needed to hear it and where I could understand it and was patient and help me through everything even when I didn't even have to go into the office thank you Mr Valdez you are wonderful and I will see you next year and the years to come because you're my new text pro thank you

Filed my taxes early March. Fred pre filled my taxes for me (wrong and missing information) and sent to another agent to fill out a part because I am coming from another state. When it was finished it was sent back to Fred for final review to send it off to the irs. I waited 2 months and called the office for them to tell me he never sent it to the irs so I waited another month and finally got my federal tax refund. Then received a letter in the mail from the irs saying my state tax information was filed wrong. Went to a different office to fix it and still about to be July my state tax is on hold.But I am glad while Fred was filing my taxes half the time instead of focusing on the paper work he was talking to my 5 year old son about bananas. I will never use H&R Block again. They advertised one price then charged me 4 times that much. The process was opaque, and there were technical difficulties. The ONLY saving grace was the professionalism of the woman who prepared my taxes.

This was my first experience having someone else do my taxes for me. For a company that advertises not wasting time on doing taxes, working through this place was a waste of time and a total headache. First, their phones don’t work. I would have to call 3-5 times before getting through or not at all. I instead had to drive over to get anything done and had to do so 4 times. Second, they were not transparent about pricing either. I was told I would pay $120 and then later found out I would pay over $250 because they charge per state filed in even though I brought in all tax documents in from other states and had my preparer look at them the first time we sat down. I would have saved myself a lot of time, trouble, and money just filing myself through TurboTax. Save your time and money like I wish I did and go somewhere else!

Ted Denkewalter filed my taxes at this location and did a superb job. He was kind, respectful, and patient with me. He made sure that I understood the process of what was happening every step of the way while also being quick and efficient. I highly recommend this H&R Block location and I highly recommend Ted to be your tax specialist.
