The actual worst. Gave me whiplash trying to figure out what they were doing. First they scare me saying I owe the IRS money then it’s whoops no they owe me money. Took forever getting a hold of someone to do the amendment for a mistake an HR Block tax pro did. Then said it was “processing” for weeks. A manger did call me one but from their personal number so of course never answered any follow up calls. Then they wouldn’t return the fee for filing with a tax pro which was guaranteed on their website. Took me tweeting HR Block and escalating this 5 times to finally get my money. They never returned my calls or messages. Horrible staff from front desk to management.

I live in Colorado but am considering moving to the San antonio/boerne area, so I found this hr block office online and called them to ask some questions about texas taxes. I spoke with Sarah I think. She was so polite, friendly and helpful. I felt like she really cared about my situation. Thank you Sarah, and if I end up moving to Texas I'll seek you guys out.

I've been using HRB for years but this was not a good experience at this location. My preparer was extremely unfriendly, rigid and impersonal.... she hid behind a plexiglass wall and kept talking really quiet even after I asked her to speak up a dozen times. I'm sure she's tired and ready for tax season to be done, as I waited till the last week to file, but most of my previous preparers were still very friendly and polite even this late into the season. I ended up going to another store to finish my return. Just wish the customer service was better.
