They really care about the kids in their care! Ms. Vivian is amazing! Felt comfortable leaving our precious son in their care.

Things were missing. I had just bought a crib sheet. Went missing there. Bottles were missing. They called cps because my son was having a hard time breathing but wouldn’t call an ambulance to get him checked out. Was completely angry and shocked. I pulled him out of there asap. What daycare doesn’t get a child checked out by ambulance or get sent to ambulance but calls cps instead

By far the best, most caring day care I have experienced with any of my children. They treat your child as if they were their own ❤️

My child Alicia was 6 months old when I needed a daycare, a close friend recommended Hope Lutheran learning center. The price was same as many other that we were looking at. So we enrolled her. Based on the recommendation. She learned so much while in daycare, enjoyed herself, and made many friends. Her caregivers were always enriching her, encouraging her to do her best. And when she had homework from her Elementary school, they let her work on it. It help us out a lot that hope Lutheran learning center would pick up Alicia from Elementary school. We appreciate everyone that helped with my child.

Writing this from my Fiance's Google. My son goes to Hope Lutheran and he absolutely loves it. He is six months old, and started about two weeks ago. He absolutely loves it, I was leery with him not being able to talk and I feared I wouldn't be able to know if he enjoyed it or not, but the moment I talked to Heather about the Center, I just felt that this is where I was supposed to send him. So I did, and EVERY morning, never fails, I drop him off and he just lights up when Ms. Vivian takes him. He will grab her face and "hug" her, he'll put his head to hers, everything. Once he is there, he could care less about saying bye to mommy. When I pick him up, he's the same, so happy, while he is happy to see me, he is also ALWAYS playing with something, and is just genuinely happy doing it. I love this center. The teachers have nothing but good things to say about my son everyday, and are very helpful in answering any questions I have.

My overall experience has been a blessing with this learning center. When I first moved to San Antonio, the first daycare I had my son in left me with a very horrible experience. My son had never been in daycare and the previous daycare did not bother with the time to help him adjust to his new surroundings. Hope Lutheran not only helped my son, but if you saw my son now, you would think that he had been there forever. Hope Lutheran has been very good to my son, at this moment I really have no complaints about the center. Everything is dealt with in a very professional manner, and I know my son will continue to be better and strive.

I've been having such amazing care for both my babies at Hope Lutheran Learning Center. Being my first time having to leave my kids in daycare, I had so many doubts whether I should withdraw them and just stay at home with them, but my 6 yr. old fits in so perfect he's made friends and doesnt even want to leave home sometimes lol , he even learned to pray before he eats! And the infant room is amazing my 3 month old is so cared for and loved, the teachers are so engaged with him, he's always so happy. The director Ms.Heather is a sweetheart she definitely made me feel at ease I love this daycare and all of their staff they are doing an amazing job at what they do. I'm so glad i found them ❤

My daughter attends school here and they provide her with execellent care. I have had no concerns with the level of care they are giving my daughter. I would recommend this center to family and friends. Staff is always warm and friendly. My daughter has never came home with dirty diapers or concerns she was not cared for properly. I am a working professional and would not tollerate anything but the best for my daughter.

We have had all our children at Hope Lutheran Learning Center for the past 10 years. I have 4 children ranging from 11 years old to 18 months. (Please keep in mind I have a child in the toddler room the early pre k room and even the after school care.)The older children have been able to transitioned from being at daycare to school life very smoothly. The teachers take their time teaching them the necessary fundamentals for the children’s every day life. My son was able to learn how to tie his shoes from Ms. Stacey. My oldest daughter was able to learn at a very early age of 2 her ABCs from Ms. Sarah, who in my eyes goes above and beyond for the kids in her class!!!! My middle daughter has even become potty trained (at 2 years old) through the daily help and positive encouragement of her teachers. Ms. Caroline is wonderful, our youngest daughter refuses to go w anyone but her mother. Not a challenge for Ms. Caroline who is able to soothe her and keep her happy and shower her w love. The teachers here at HOPE attend numerous classes, training events and seminars to keep up w the new ways to teach young minds to keep moving forward to achieve greatness. The staff are pleasant and attentive, even at the early part of the mornings... Everyday we are greeted from the moment we step into the facility. I appreciate the care we get from the teachers, volunteers and director on a daily basis. I chose this daycare because it is clean, has fun daily activities for the kids, family events monthly and is AFFORDABLE. Also! They have an app that lets you know details during the day... it allows easier access to shoot the director a quick txt asking how the kids are and she responds back promptly. It’s also utilized to inform if there is an outbreak (kids will get sick.... even w proper care and hygiene provided by their teachers!) The director gives us informative updated news to be aware if something is going on in ur child’s classroom. She takes all precautions allowed to make sure the children are safe and in good hands, w in house camera system and code enforced doors. Classrooms are kept clean and always smelling yummy w the help from Ms Rosie who always has something delicious cooking, HOPE feels like a home away from home. It has 3 playground areas, a playground for the older children to enjoy, a smaller one for the little babies and a third playground for the big little kids, that the kids really enjoy. They hate when I have to pick them up “too early” they have friends they have known for years.
Overall it’s a great place for our children. It gives me peace of mind knowing that the kids are in a safe, loving environment, are having so much fun learning while being there, and DOESN'T break the bank!!! I have recommended family and co workers to send their children to HOPE, and told me it was the best decision they made for their child care.

We love this place. We have been going here for 5 years. The teachers are kind and compassionate and truly care about the kids. The few issues we’ve had were addressed immediately. My kids love chapel. Actually sad my son has to leave in the fall to go to “big school.”

I had my children attend here for a few months in the beginning it was nice. Until my daughters class was having lice outbreaks every other week at one point a boy was so infested I saw mom brought him bold and he still had lice on him and left him in class. Her teacher stacy would tell my daughter she couldn't use her blanket for nap and she would take her blanket away some days. My 4 year old daughter would tell her teacher in front of me that she was lying and why was she lying for, when I would proceed to ask why she was doing that to her. My daughter didn't learn anything!! my sons class had foot and mouth disease it was a constant thing, I was so fed up I had to take my children out!!! every time I would talk to the director it was always a joke she always sided with her teachers. And would be so unprofessional through text arguing with me. I'm so happy I took them out.

My kids went here for a month. I selected this center without initially touring it because I was not in the area at the time. Some things I liked were that my kids learned quite a bit while they were there. The teachers do a very good job of mentally stimulating the children, and they have a weekly chapel visit which is fantastic. I also like the convient location and the security code/camera outside. Overall our experience was poor though, there were non-stop notices coming in about pink eye, head lice, etc. My kids were sick multiple times while in their care (my daughter went to urgent care 4 times in 4 weeks). Additionally, you can tell they are doing what they can with their budget, but it's not the cleanest looking, but the effort does appear to be there. They are not flexible with scheduling issues, and the director is very rude. I'm not sure if it's because it's funded in conjunction with the church, but I did not feel like a paying customer, the vibe was almost like they were doing a service to the community. Ultimately, if learning is your absolute top priority for your kids, this is not a bad place. Ms. Crystal in particular is absolutely FANTASTIC, and if I could have stuck her in my bag and took her home as a nanny I would have in a heart beat. Pricing is affordable, but the nonstop sicknesses and overall lack of professionalism I experienced there was enough to make me give a 1 day notice and withdraw my kids immediately.
