The Home Goods store in San Antonio is great! However, the customer service isn’t the best. They act really bias and borderline racist. Not to mention, one of the managers had a foreign accent. Go figure. I guess if your skin is light enough or white you’re in the wrong area. It’s a shame. Society has seemingly come full circle.

One of my group got a splinter on the bamboo utensils, staff seemed ill equipped, took too long to get the first aid kit and didn't have tweezers to remove the splinter. Had to go elsewhere to resolve the problem.
Also cashier tried to put metal non-stick pans together in one bag without parchment separating them. Prices aren't very good and store layout is cramped. Go somewhere else for your holiday shopping needs.

After halloween was over this year I had a couple of items I did not use that were still new and I had the reciept for them. Homegoods website clearly states all returns after 30 day can only recieve a store credit. So I took my itnes in and was told they were done with halloween and no longer taking returns. Hmm. So I looked at my reciept and there was no mention of seasonal items which is 50% of what they sell have a different return policy so the assistant manager came up to the front and told me Eric Garza was the manager and thay he made that decision but that also that was a corporate wide decision. He then proceeded to ask me what he was supposed to do with halloween items since they had moved on to Christmas.. I said I don't really care but if your going to have a strict date that you will no longer than take back certain times that doesn't match up with what is stated on your recipt and on the corporate website it should be posted and printed in the reciept just like Spirit does. None of this phased him. So over thr next three days I went to the Quarry home goods and the Rim and guess what.... they returned all my items without question or scrutiny. So I'm thinking this was not corporate policy. Be sure you ask when buying anything for Christmas from this store if they will be honoring their holiday return policy or if you will be shocked and told no because Christmas is over.

It's so hot in this store. The cashiers are visibly uncomfortable and I don't even want to browse here with how hot it is. It's also very messy and the aisles are always blocked off by merchandise on top of merchandise.
