I had expected more of it: at least a lot of Chinese "bling bling" that is sold as Mexican. Silver plated jewelry sold off as sterling silver. You can skip this “attraction” on a city trip.

If you love Mexican markets, this is your paradise. Being the male in our household, I was content to have a beer and sit while my wife shopped. She found all sorts of jewellery and such. To me, you’ve been to one shop you’ve seen them all. The Beer and ability to walk around with it were the saving grace for me.

It was so much fun!! We went there on October 26th and they had so much going on with The Day Of The Dead. A parade and tons of different foods. Great shopping!!

Oh hoooo… I visited the historic market Sqaure on October 27 2024. It’s in Downtown of San Antonio near to UTSA San Pedro 1. October 27 2024, San Antonio was celebrating Halloween Day. The streets were colourful vibrant energetic lively and full of fun. The streets were filled with people and shops. The live music was pleasant as well as energetic. The crowd was clapping for the performers and also enjoying the music with foods and drinks. The shops have a great collection which represents the culture of Mexican and Latin America too. The shops have cowboy dress collection starting from top to bottom that is from hat to boots. The jackets were my favourite. The quality was excellent. The kids collection was also impressive. The women cannot come out of the shops without buying at least a keychain. One should experience the aura of the Historic Market Sqaure during Halloween.

What a wonderful place to relax & get away for a while. Really enjoy Market Square music, venders, shopping, eateries like Mi Tierra. I'd never leave San Antonio without stopping by.

My friend & i took a quick tour before our flight out of San Antonio. Colorful & pretty views, enjoyable to walk around. We took some nice pics. Vendors were friendly.
