DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! HEED MY WORDS! I was a Hertz fan-boy before this experience. I've had nothing but great experience with Hertz before I chose this location. 2 days in advance I made the reservation. I've never had Hertz e-mail and text me for a confirmation (that I can remember) but the next day while @ work they did - where I am unable to take personal calls. Early in the afternoon I text confirming the rental and after a few calls I confirmed over the phone of the rental (around 4 to 5 pm I believe. (I was given the main number to call back and none of the items on the automated phone answering system were for confirming a reservation.) The next morning my ride's car had a flat but I was still able to make it to the location within 15 minutes of my pick-up time. There are NO signs, including the Pylon sign, indicating that Hertz is in the building complex. I was only able to confirm Hertz was in the building from the exterior by driving up a 2 story parking lot and finding Hertz rental cars on the top floor. I had my wife leave expecting Hertz top notch service I normally get. I did find the Hertz location inside the building and asked why the moved from the 410 location I never had any problems with (I don't remember the answer) and was told they have been there since April 2024. (About 6 months). Now does this sound like something a normal business does? You should find it strange that a reviewer from 3 days ago has to give instructions on how to find Hertz in the building. When I get to the counter, I'm told they have overbooked and do not have a car for me. No text. No e-mail. Surprise! And after I told my wife to drive off! The person behind the counter did not offer any solutions to my problem though honestly I did not stay around very long so I wouldn't make a scene with my anger and disappointment. I did go to the Airport and got a rental without minimal hassle (With my gold status I usually only have to walk up and pick from a group of cars). But kudos for the Airport counter person for working with me. But of course I had to pay more with the airport fees added on - I expected that. And that was why I was not renting from the airport to begin with. Moral of the story - CHECK REVIEWS. There generally is a valid reason a location only gets 2.5 star google reviews. I am betting that is a padded score. My guess is that this location is set up as a rental place if you have your car in the shop. Unless you have your car in the shop - DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. You have been warned!

If you pull up in the front of the building, you have to walk up the front steps & when you get in the main doors, it is to the left. If you come in from the parking in the back, you have to go past the elevators. Inside the office, the guys are extremely helpful and informative. Overall, it was a good experience, except if you're trying to call them because it just goes to the call center.

Rented a car online when I arrived after taking an Uber there I was told they don't have any vehicles. When I asked if I could get reimbursed for the Uber I was basically laughed at and the guy went whose next during the question. Crappy service terrible customer service. Never again

Don’t bother making a rental at this location. We booked through Orbitz and were informed that no cars were available *after* we made the drive to the location. The location itself is difficult to find.
The company should invest in a proper sign. There is a tiny Hertz sign near the main door but you’ll miss it from afar. If you do book here, I suggest calling their local number before taking time out of your day for a disappointment.

Poor customer service. Picked up car, was dirty outside and in. Customer service did not go over car features or instructions. NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!! Overall service to get anyone from customer service awful! Hold time in phone over 30 minutes and still no.one responded!

I never write reviews but what they are doing to people is WRONG. I read all the bad reviews beforehand and hoped for the best, but I found out ALL of the bad reviews are true.
I reserved an SUV for pick-up on a Saturday at 12 p.m. (they close at 12 p.m.). I arrived 40 minutes early to find a full waiting room of people who hadn't even had a chance to speak to a representative. (Please note: if you arrive late, even at 12:01 p.m., you will not get a rental.)
After hearing the one person working that day give excuses like "we don't have the car you reserved" to four different people, I finally made it to the counter at 12:30. The excuse I received was that my reservation was canceled. They told me to call a Hertz customer service number, which, by the way, never answered. The staff member then mentioned he had to leave for Houston and couldn't help me. I waited for 30 minutes while he repeatedly said he couldn't help me and needed to leave because they were closed.
To make matters worse, I checked my statement today and saw that I was charged for a rental I never received. Now I have to dispute the charges.
Please save yourself from bad customer service and wasted hours. I ended up going to the airport, renting from Enterprise, and was in and out with the rental I needed in less than 30 minutes with excellent customer service.

Awful company. Avoid at all costs. Made a reservation a few days ago and called to confirm on the day. Was informed that the car is ready for collection. Only to arrive 30mins after the conversation to find that there were NO cars available. In fact the company had just given it's last car to a customer who called on the day. Waste of time, money and energy. This company continues to make reservations even when cars are not available just as long as their own pockets are filled with a complete disregard for their customers. Don't waste your time people, I learned the hard way.

If you are flying into San Antonio strongly consider a different company. They do not answer calls prior to operating hours and a flight delay may jeopardize your rental. Due to a plane delay I was an hour late. Receptionist informed me they only hold reservations for 30 minutes before reselling your reservation. Due to inventory limitations they were unable to provide me any vehicles. The receptionist was rather cold through the entire process. On the matter of refunds, they simply handed me a Hertz brochure and told me to contact the highlighted number.

If you think you’re lost, you aren’t. Suite is within bigger building. Just have to walk around and find entrance.

I’ve never given a rating or review before but this experience left me feeling very upset and unsatisfied that I had to write a review. Renting a vehicle isn’t a first for me but this rental was the most upsetting and frustrating I ever had. To be given such a terrible rental while paying so much money is unacceptable and very unprofessional. The photos are from my recent rental and it’s outrageous that it was the vehicle provided. To have writing all over the car and for the interior to be dirty and also for the bumper to be barely hanging on while the fob rarely even works to the point that you have to manually unlock and lock the car is terrible.

If you value your time and worth, don’t even set foot in this place. I can’t even believe this company would allow such unprofessional trash to collect a paycheck.
That really might have changed my mind completely about Hertz!
Way too many rental companies, not to mention businesses like Turo to ever waste your time with this place.

Don’t book with 10010 San Pedro location. I was scheduled to return my vehicle at 8 pm but took it in earlier. Upon arrival, I noticed that the doors were locked and lights were off because the office closed at 5 pm I didn’t know this and I didn’t know what to do. I had to figure everything out on my own. After searching the entire building I found a dropbox for keys for anyone dropping off after hours. I was never informed of this. For anyone reading this …. The dropbox is in the parking lot where all the rentals are parked. Also, I was a nervous wreck for the entire trip because of the dash message that said oil needed to be changed.. I brought this up before I left, but I was told that it was normal. There wasn’t any windshield wiper fluid either making it difficult to see past all the splattered bugs. I was forced to stop frequently throughout my trip to clean the windshield off myself.
