I'm only giving this score of 5 stars is because Ebony and Prince were so helpful in resolving a POS system problem. Cards really should be able to swipe or be able to be manually input if the chip in the card isn't being accepted by the machine. The trip was frustrating and took fire but the outcome was good because of their perseverance.

Absolutely the slowest laziest workers of all time. As the line wrapped 30 people deep the old lady walked away and left two others that felt the need to have long personal conversations with every customer

Update. Consistent horrible service. Four weeks after writing a review, here we are again. Two cars to choose from in the presidential circle. I picked one of the two cars and headed to the exit. The exit has a thirty minute wait, as usual. When it's my turn, I am told that the car is no good bc of mechanical issues, and I have to pick another. So I go back to the pick-up area for another car, but they have zero cars to choose from. Now I have to wait another fifteen minutes for a car. Don't forget there's still a thirty minute wait to exit. I have been here every week for the last six months. My project in San Antonio has ended, and I am so glad I will not do business with this Hertz location again. Also, I took off a star.
Worst selection of presidential circle cars. I've come here every Monday for 16 weeks. Every week, the presidents circle has less than 10 cars to choose from, and they are Chevrolet Malibu or less. The staff and service are great, but this location has a horrible selection.

I've been trying to reach this location by phone once per hour since Sunday evening and can't get ahold of anyone. I drove to my local Hertz, and they provided an email address (and no response). They have my phone locked in the car rental that they provided with a flat tire, and I am unable to get any help or response on this. I'm leaving this review hoping that someone will help me.

Beware conartist+Terrible service. First car didn't have a working Radio or dashboard as it was broken. Second car was nice but after returning the car they said I smoked in it which I didn't and added 350$ to my bill.

This was a very disappointing experience. The service rep that helped set up my rental was not very helpful and I ended up purchasing rental car insurance that I didn’t even need because I have auto insurance. I was not informed of this at the time of the rental and when I called the next day I was told that I would be refunded starting the day of my call but not starting the day prior which was my start date on my rental. This was after I get out to pick up the vehicle I asked for and was given the wrong vehicle. I completed my rental and now after calling the same number regarding the refund I was told that they would have to email the rental company at the airport and they would be the ones to decide whether or not they will refund the insurance fee.

One of the worst rental places- no one absolutely no one answers the phone after multiple attempts throughout the day and when you try to leave a voicemail the voicemail box is full. So much for please reach out if there are any issues or problems. And the 1-800 number that is supposed to be 24/7 is no better.

I have been travelling to San Antonio for work for around a month now. My company mandates that I use Hertz. There is only 1 person working at the desk at all times it seems. Someone needs to let management know that no one wants to stand in line for 30 minutes after flying all day. This evening it was more like 45 minutes. Ridiculous.

They will fraudulently charge you for fuel even though the vehicle was returned full (according to the gauge) resulting in additional headache after you have already left. The staff at check in was friendly and helpful though in ensuring my President's Circle was recognized and number added to my rental contract.
