Monica has given me the best cut I've every had and her product line has been a game changer. She is extremely knowledgeable and proficient. When I leave the salon my hair looks fabulous and is easy to maintain. I am so happy to have found this salon.

Owner was pretty condescending. Her service online said it'd come with a trim but after she completed the service she told me "your hair looks like it could use a trim" and did not do one. Additionally she said my hairline was damaged from wearing braids, but my hairline has always looked like that, before I ever wore box braids. She told me I didn't have alopecia when I've been diagnosed with it. Not professional or respectful.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I had attended this salon when I first moved to San Antonio but I stopped going. I did not like the way the owner made me feel and she seemed to not want to serve the customer but instead, to align the customer with only her needs. I always felt that I was an inconvenience and when when took leave to have a baby, she had absolutely no recommendations for me or information when she might be returning. I was shocked that she was so cavalier in response to my inquiry. I do not plan to return!

Monica was amazing! I got my times mixed up and ended up being 30 mins late! She still gave me my service and I couldn't be more thankful! My hair looks beautiful, my curls look defined, she kept my length, she did beautiful face framing! Incredible experience. Thank you Monica!

I received my first ever curly cut today and now my hair has more shape and movement. Monica was very professional and even answered all of my questions about my hair. I love my cut and will definitely be back again.

I wanted something simple, a TWA. What I got was a tapered-ish boxy cut with longer bangs. I even had photos to show her the style. My hair was washed, but she absentmindedly washed it again, then unceremoniously chopped my hair off and styled it into a shape. It looked "cute" at the time . Now, the morning after", I have regrets. I don't need to drive 20 miles, spend $145 for an uneven hair cut and a sack of her travel size hair care products. I just wanted a very classic cut that black women have been rocking for decades. My husband's barber, who is a white guy could have done better! She gets 3 stars because she seems knowledgeable in caring for natural hair, just NOT cutting natural hair

I have been coming to Harmoni Salon over the past 8 months for curly haircuts for my wavy hair. Monica is so kind and friendly. She always does such an amazing job. I leave each time loving my new cut. She listens to my requests and perfectly executes them. She also does a great job explaining everything she’s doing and asking for my feedback along the way. Monica is a skilled professional. I showed her the cut that I was wanting and she tailored it to: 1) my face; 2) my hair texture; 3) my routine; and finally my lifestyle (I don’t do salon visits that often).The first photo is my before, the second the day of the cut, the third day 3 after the cut, and the part was the next wash day.I am enjoying it so much and have received great comments. I will add that it did not take her long to cut it either. My previous stylist would take 45 minutes to cut my hair and it never looked this good.I recommend Monica for your curly hair.

Absolutely amazing experience from the moment I scheduled to the moment I received my haircut! I have super curly hair and have had some really bad hair cuts in the past. As a result, I’m really hesitant to try new salons. I am so happy I went to Harmoni salon! Monica is super experienced and knowledgeable on how to care for your curls. She even has her own curly hair products for sale at the salon or on her website. If you have curly hair, you’ll be in good hands with her.
