I wish we had these back home. Very clean. The meat market is impressive and the produce choices are incredible and well kept!

Leaving this only for curbside. The shoppers put one item per grocery bag. It’s insane. You got 6 cans of something? 6 bags. 4 packs of tuna? 4 bags. Have probably 100 bags from my latest order. It’s a huge waste and makes unpacking the groceries a nightmare in the kitchen.

Very large and only getting bigger. While a tad overwhelming this store is stocked to the brim with rare finds and everything you'd need to host a dinner party full of celebrities. I don't think there's anything they don't have. Lol Merchants and cashiers are always kind and helpful especially Logan. I often get lost here and he always seems to find me and guide me in the right direction

I visited the HEB location at 999 E Basse Rd on Sunday May 26th around 6:20pm. I was picking over some corn, most were terrible by the way, and my partner was throwing the shucks in the trash can. Once we were done, an off the clock employee was berating and harassing us about cleaning up the few shreds of shuckings that may have fell on the ground because his "manager will be mad." He was a skinny tall white guy wearing a light blue shirt, white hat, light shorts and sneakers. We said we did throw them away but he kept arguing that there's some shuckings left over and to "DO BETTER". He finally left and we started to continue our shopping except he watched us and came back over to berate us some more and said "since you won't clean it up, I will." We said ok and continued shopping again.
I've never felt so uncomfortable in an HEB store before. We were really confused why this off the clock employee was harassing us about a few shucking shreds. Did he expect us to find an employee and ask for a broom? Did he want us to touch the floor with our hands? Do the employees closing that night not clean at the end of the shift? Also I'm pretty sure he violated some labor law by working OFF the clock.
Anyway, I did not realize that customers are supposed to bring either a dust pan or hand vacuum to clean up as they shop but I'll give your store a few tips. When you have fresh corn and expect customers to shuck, please have a large trash can without a lid, and a broom/mop nearby since you expect customers to be spotless.

HEB completely stereotypes hiring hispanic men they will prioritize anglo applications in the front of the store rather Hispanics in back management is literally the most spoiled Hispanic brats of San Antonio stay away. HEB Hispanic managers are ruthless here.

Ongoing renovations make it little challenging to navigate to this store (parking & driving). Store is clean and well stocked. Check out was easy. Staff was friendly. Overall good experience.

I have place three order with this heb because they carry a soda that I like. It is like my six order with them and they always leave the order at wrong apartment and most time my order is gone when gone to retrieve it. Very disappointed .
