My veterinarian sent my cats prescriptions here because they told me HEB is really good about prescribing pet meds. So I started getting them sent here. This pharmacy is also super close to my house unlike my regular pharmacy which is CVS. I've had nothing but problems with this place though since I switched. First off, while they do pet prescriptions, they won't let you create an online profile to monitor and manage those prescriptions unless you have a prescription for yourself with them. This makes it impossible to know if the prescription for your pet is ready or not. I have to keep calling and stopping by to ask because they won't simply call me, email or text me to let me know! Then I decided to transfer all my person prescriptions from my CVS pharmacy to this one so it will be easier, I can make the online profile, get texts etc. Well I did so 2 weeks ago and yet they still aren't transferred! I went in person today in the store to speak to them to ask what to do to get these prescriptions transferred and to set up the online profile only to get the run around. My vet sent my cats prescription to them Monday morning and yet today Thursday afternoon it still wasn't filled. I'm about ready to say forget it and stick with CVS and try to get my cats meds with CVS instead. Seriously don't understand the issues happening here.

This particular H-E-B on hwy 78 has caused me several issues. I have Lupus, PTSD, and horrible anxiety. Either they have to order a medication that I fill every month or make me make multiple trips due to this. My doctor depending on my circumstances will change up my scripts. I wait forever inside or drive through only to be told it's too soon and insurance will not cover a medication. I always have to explain and have look back at the original script. Then I get we can have that ready within the hour. I find myself sitting in my truck waiting as everything else was filled or I'll have to come back within a couple of days as they must order another med. I feel they should check when a script is dropped off or let me know right then they are out of stock. If they know a patient/customer gets a med filled every month for the last several years, one would think they'd order enough. I'm contemplating moving to CVS or Walgreens. I wish there was a small independent pharmacy on this side of town. If you've read this far thank you. If you know of a small pharmacy, please let me know!

This is literally the worst pharmacy in san antonio..it takes them 10 mins or longer to answer the phone..very unreliable ive never had issue getting my medication delivered or getting them in general until i moved to this side of town..

I ordered to have my prescriptions delivered for free. They told me it would be about six hour wait but the delivery driver showed up about 3 1/2 hours after I called them. They're pretty quick and efficient once you receive the prescriptions you sign your signature on to his cell phone and then they leave. It's very convenient.I highly recommend using H-E-B prescription pharmacy delivery, it's great for those that are senior citizens or who is sick and can't get out of the house

Im only giving one star because H-E-B is a good company to work for and has better quality products. However the pharmacy service is a mess. There’s one older lady there who is just unkind and unprofessional and does not give any hospitality treatment for those who have to go pick up medicine after long days of being in and out of urgent care and emergency rooms with their children. Like you don’t have enough worries or stress and what not to still have an unpleasant experience with the pharmacy I thought I could rely on because of the company name it’s attached to. I will be moving pharmacy unfortunately because this employee will talk over you and rush you and the poor customer service level provided is just unacceptable.

Just switched from Walgreens and am happy I did. You guys made it easy. Applied goodrx coupon without me having to ask. Friendly up and down. Big difference in prices. I am into it.

Being out of a medication is understandable, not answering calls or knowing when you're going to get more, seems broken. For people who don't abuse their controlled medications, the system is broken.My doctors office is almost 5 hours away (my choice). I called 3 times (no answer) while I was there visiting my family, called (no answer) on my drive back..... to get home to be told twice, you don't know when you will have more. I have to get a NEW perscription to transfer to a different HEB because it's a control. It's almost expired because i dont abuse my medication. Getting penalized for having sick kids, family members, pets passing in this small window of not caring to get it refilled... to now having to get a new prescription that is 5 hours away (losing 2 refills in the process)........ literally wasting my time and money.This system is setup for ZERO regards to anyone's mental or physical health, in retrospect to the ramifications of abruptly quitting a medication.I have always been respectful & patient for the tireless thankless job that pharmists do. Today, i didn't make a scene, i simply asked for a solution ........i will never come back here.

SMH I'm saddened by HEB witnessed discrimination at its most. 2 sisters(Muslim) women were checking out only to be shooed away and a sign put out lame closed then I witnessed the checker allow not only allow but flagged them to come to his lane SMH. Regardless of religion we are all still human beings I was discussed. Really HEB not ok ??????
