The pharmacy employees are consistently described as helpful, kind, considerate, caring, professional, and attentive, offering excellent counsel and the best customer service around. Prescriptions are filled promptly. The broader H-E-B store has a neighborhood-friendly, community feel and a Farmer's Market atmosphere. It stocks the usual selection of anything and everything, including a refrigerated Grab & Go section with sandwiches, salads, and microwaveable meals. While the selection may be somewhat lower than some larger locations, it is also less crowded. Employees, including those in the business center, are courteous, accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Managers and higher-level employees are often seen roaming the floor. It is a welcome addition to its neighborhood. Shoppers are advised to look for coupons on the shelves for use during their visit.
I was in San Antonio on vacation and had to run to the store for medicine and food. I had never been to an HEB Pharmacy/ store before. I loved it!
