Grossly unprofessional and truly despicable CPA. You pay for tax coaching and guidance throughout the year, but are left in the back burner until tax time rolls around. They are far more expensive than other firms. Their email and phone call follow up are non-existent. Every email I sent to them began with, "Hello, we haven't heard anything in months and are following up on our questions." Thomas Gurerro is confused about any communication he is involved in and makes excuses for not following up with his clients. Their tax "professionals" advise you to not pay IRS penalties and fees, stating that they will have them removed, but then after 6 months of no follow thru, they say it's my responsibility to pay them including the new fees and penalties.Garbage company and life will catch up with them.Heed my warning and go with a truly professional CPA.

In the beginning I was a tad disappointed that we had to set an appointment like 6 or 8 weeks out to get started back in August of last year but figured they must be good for the wait to be that long. Everyone was professional in the meeting so I will say that. We had multiple meetings that felt redundant in nature though and we would say the same information every time. Finally by December we were still waiting to finalize tax plans and I decided it was time to find someone else. I’ve since emailed multiple times and asked for a call back multiple times but nobody responds. I would NOT recommend them to anyone and would probably look for a new tax specialist if you currently use them.

After switching from a 4K cpa to Ed, a $700 cpa, I thought I was doing my wallet a favor. However, he failed to file my extension then the guy promised and failed to retrieve the prior years returns my deceased husband filed that I never had a chance to read or get copies of. Then ED filed my incongruent return a day late costing me over $300 in penalty. These people don't care about you. One star is too much.

I am 100% satisfied with Guerrero accounting. They have saved me a lot on taxes and as a business owner, I need all the value I can get. They add so much value beyond filing my taxes. They help me strategize ahead of time.

It seems like it's a trend for this firm to make simple accounting mistakes on tax returns costing their clients time and money. When mistakes are make they deny their mistakes and push the client to deal with the IRS and the repercussions of their doing. We were no different. Deadlines were missed bc they were too busy. Causing us to pay penalties. mistakes were made and submitted to the IRS (filing status error, deduction errors, and filing deadline missed). Nevertheless, when the IRS responded the Guerrero firm responded with its not my problem. After several attempts Mr. Guerrero himself stated he was not going to assist and it was our issue. After being reviewed by several other firms all the mistakes are being resolved. SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND MONEY. DO NOT USES THESE PPL. AS THEY WILL NOT DO IT CORRECTLY NOR WILL THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK.

No follow up and most poorly run office I've ever dealt with. Ed doesn't respond to emails and has staff do it. The emails appear to be written by someone just learning English. I got audited and was left to fend for myself. Find another accountant.

I would highly NOT recommend Guerrero to help you with your taxes or to help you set up a LLC. Ed was the first CPA I dealt with as I have always done my own taxes. The first year I file it with Ed Guerrero, I get a notification from the IRS that I owe them money. When I call and ask about it, Ed was too busy to talk to me and one of the secretaries told me it was my fault and I had to pay it. It was their mistake and they won’t own up to it.Then I create a LLC. This is my first time creating a LLC and I needed help on the process. I create a LLC through legal zoom and I then reach out to Guerrero’s office for advice on the next steps. Again, Ed was not available to talk the staff had no clue as to what the next steps are. I was told that someone would be calling me and no one did. I had to continually call the office just to get nowhere. Finally someone put me in touch with the right people and I am now after months of creating my LLC at I finally directed to get my payroll and other things set up. I just hope I won’t get penalized because it’s been a few months since creating the LLC.I’m almost to the point to where I am starting to regret even setting one up. The savings I could potentially get isn’t even worth the headache and the stress it is putting on my family and I. Thanks for everything you have not done.

Ed and his amazing team have been helping us with our taxes for several years. We are now working with him on tax strategies. All I can say if you are high income earners and haven't talked to Ed, you're costing yourself money and doing yourself a disservice! Call him right now!!!

1st off I went with Ed's group for education into tax staggery and decided to allow them to do my 1st round of taxes. The 1st meeting was good, but after that, deadlines were missed, lots of miscommunication, and we caught a tax mistake during a meeting to review our taxes. Not only did we catch their mistake but we also had to inform them about the documented they requested was already given to them on their portal. . n. I would guess that maybe the focus their A team on the bigger clients but for people starting out trying to start a side hustle, do yourself a favor and stay away. I would say, used Turbo Tax, because at least they can help you if you get into legal issues. I was so hopeful for this group but at the end of the day they continued to under preform.
