Terry was so kind and helpful throughout our home buying process. He was ALWAYS in contact when something was happening with the loan and very prompt to return phone calls. He answered all my questions and offered explanations for things I didn't even know I needed to know about! Cannot recommend him highly enough!

I cannot recommend working with Terry and Grove Mortgage enough. He has put in countless hours working with my wife and I, helping us with our first home purchase using the VA Loan. Nothing is hidden, with Grove Mortgage. Our builder's lender gave us a worse rate with twice the amount of closing costs, mostly due to the builder's lender charging ridiculous origination fees, which Grove Mortgage does not do. I have been on numerous phone calls with Terry past 6:30 or 7 pm. He makes himself available, which is so important. Terry even saved us from some shadiness that was going on with our original realtor. He has made this process much more calm than I had ever imagined. Once again, I cannot recommend using Grove Mortgage enough, we truly feel like we have been treated like family.

I went with Groves for a refi because I didn't want my loan to be bought by the government, which was imminent. I wanted a conventional loan, held by a conventional bank or financial institution. The process was pretty straight-forward, (Kalie's a bit pushy), but my closing rate was almost 1% above where we started. I went on with it anyway. We closed, I made my first payment, and 2 weeks later got a letter telling me my loan had been bought by Fannie Mae. Had I wanted a Fannie Mae loan, I would have refied with them to get a better rate, but I specifically stated I wanted a conventional loan! The part that upset me the most, is that the company they use, United Wholesale Mortgage, almost always sells their loans to Fannie Mae, and Groves didn't tell me that! Now I'm stuck with the very thing I refinanced to get away from! Terry and Kalie HAD to know that. It was deceitful and unprofessional. I'll never recommend them, and I'll certainly never use them again! If you're looking for a conventional loan, keep looking!

Terry and his team is absolutely amazing! Terry worked so hard to get us the loan we wanted with a great close. He is honest and will truly cares and will go the extra 10 miles to help you out. I can’t recommend him enough!

Working with Terry was the best experience ever! Terry went above and beyond to make this process as easy as possible. He was attentive, available, honest and truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. We used the VA loan and his knowledge with this program is phenomenal! Terry got us an amazing rate and listened to all the loan requirements we wanted. If you want a lender who is going to listen to you and put your needs first then call Grove Mortgage! Oh and I should mention that at no time did Terry ask me to write a review which made me want to do this even more so because oddly enough I found his company on Google! I wasn’t happy or comfortable with the lender recommended from my realtor so I took to Google for help. I hope this review helps someone else.

If Terry Grove isn't your mortgage broker you are not buying a house right! We are military and used VA loans and financing, this man is knowledgeable, straight forward, wonderful, understanding, and just great to work with! Terry Grove and Grove mortgage is and will always be my first call when I buy a house in Texas!

Terry has been an awesome lender. My previous lender referred Terry to me because I had a problem using my VA with them. Long story short, I ended up paying only about 15% in closing cost of what I originally was going to pay with my first lender. They also gave me back my appraisal cost! He called me one day asking me why am I putting so much money down? I thought that if I put a lot down, that I would end up having a lower mortgage but I was wrong. He explained to me what is needed to be done to get the best deal. Working with Terry has been a hassle free experience and he sure knows his stuff and would make sure that you get the best deal possible! I definitely hope that other home buyers will have Terry as their lender! Thanks Terry. - Anna

I was a first-time homebuyer when I first contacted Terry at Grove Mortgage. I was scarred that a mortgage company was going to take advantage of the fact that I never bought a house before, but Terry took his time to talk me through each step of financing. He explained to me the different programs I could use and the pros and cons to each. I called him at 6:00pm on a Saturday night because I had a question about the appraisal process and he answered his phone and took his time to explain it to me! Even my realtor was shocked about how he was very transparent and updated everyone during the home buying process. Thank you Terry for answering all my questions, even the silly and repeated ones!!!
