I’ve been going to this vet for the last 2 years and they have been amazing. At my dogs last vet they made him take pills to drug him before appointments but at GNWH he’s never needed that. They have worked with him so amazingly since the beginning. He needs no medications and they are able to do everything! Dr.Johnson has been great to work with!

This is my favorite clinic in San Antonio! The staff are always friendly and helpful! They truly love our fur babies and look forward to seeing them. I feel very comfortable being here and bringing my babies here, whether it’s check ups, shots, or surgery.
I have 2 sweet babies that cooperate and one high energy lab (that definitely makes their day harder) and a grey kitty that growls and hisses and they are so good with them. I appreciate this place so much! 10/10 recommend for anyone searching for a new clinic!
Update: I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and they still never disappoint! It’s easy to get an appointment and refill meds through the portal. They are so gracious!

Friendly staff, techs, and vets. They all were super helpful, and there were options for treatment. It's never cheap to see the vet if something is going wrong. But they are cheaper than other places. Love the lobby, super clean and nice. They have refreshments available. I'm happy it's so close to home, and the online portal is really easy to use.
They took really good care of my senior cat.

Best vet office in town, hands down! I drive across town just to bring my fur babies here. Always explain test results and are willing to have a conversation about the treatment options. Dr. Michelle is very knowledgeable and I trust her treatment plans and expertise! If your cat has FIP and you are looking for a knowledgeable and well experienced vet look no further. She has been a tremendous resource for us while navigating this process and disease. I cannot recommend her and Great Northwest more.

This was our first time visit. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Julia was very patient with Sam and made it easy for Sam to adapt to her now new veterinarian clinic. Dr. Travis explained everything thoroughly and was very professional.
Update: Dr's and staff here continue to work closely on available options to support Sam's pain management to keep her living an active lifestyle comfortably and pain-free.
