So went with the young lady who let
me tell you for not being scared to having little info plus on top of rushing did a very good job. Can't wait to go back

Jesse never fails to deliver an amazing haircut! My daughter and I visited him today.

I've been going to GC all over texas the past few years. I just moved to SA, and this was the closest to my house. Walked in the very dead store and was told they would not cut my hair without a mask. So decided they did not need my money, so I went to the next closest, and it was very busy and no mask. I had a great visit and I will drive by this one to go to the other every week.

I only come to this location because of one stylist and I WISH I was smart enough to have gotten her name, but shes always in a fantastic mood, she does an amazing job and I've never once left out of there upset because "she didn't listen to me". She is the same with my super picky son's hair as well, and building his trust is NOT an easy task to achieve!!I will edit next time I go back and get her name ?

Sonny 5+++++Jesse ------1000 negativeHate to ding Sonny for Jesse's jerky behavior.I checked in and had my 6 year old son's hair cut today.The stylist Sonny that cut my son's hair was friendly, kind and meticulous. He gave my son exactly the haircut I asked for, the best haircut anyone has given him.Another stylist at the salon, a balding, overweight man in his late 50s with a high and tight came over and accosted me for parting my son's hair. I think his name is Jesse. He's not the manager nor the assistant manager and he would not leave me alone or get away from me. He kept coming into my personal space.Until he asked Sonny the stylist that was cutting my son's hair if it was okay for me to be there. Sonny said yes and even asked for more directions from me to make sure he got the haircut correct.Then this other stylist, Jesse came over and accosted me again for no reason. The hair cut is now mostly complete. Sonny is not acting like he's unhappy nor has any body language showing discomfort.Jesse then got the manager on FaceTime and was trying to throw me out. Again the stylist Sonny that I was working with was not upset or angry and I asked him if I was offending him or upsetting him. I never got a response from him in a negative way at all.Then Jesse again started accosting me and called me a "Karen". Which is an offensive racial slur. He then accused me of taking advantage of our stylist Sonny, language barrier. He proceeded to tell me that parents were not allowed on the floor and so did the manager that was on the phone.I have been going to Great clips locations for at least 25 years and have always been allowed as a parent to be next to my child directing the haircut and keeping them still.This location mean hateful not even relevant stylist absolutely upset me and did all of this in front of my 6-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter. My 12-year-old daughter wondered what his problem was. I don't know if he's just a prejudice man or a chauvinist.I would never do anything to offend somebody knowingly. I kept asking our stylist Sonny and apologizing if I was doing something that was upsetting him I kept getting the response that it was okay.I found the mean aggressive stylist, Jesse to be physically menacing because he kept coming close, but his station was 4 or 5 away from us and there was no other customers in the building.I feel sad because I would like to go back and have Sonny cut my son's hair again but I am afraid that I would be accosted and abused and physically threatened by Jesse again.It's a horrible feeling to have and I hate to have my children witness that kind of aggressive and abusive behavior.

Stylists never understand what a trim or even what an inch is. They always over cut.
