I will never step foot in this location, is this a gym or a “mens sex club” ? after hearing of all the nasty activities that happen in the sauna/ steamroom why isn’t management not doing anything to protect gym goers? acts of public lewdness and inappropriate sexual behavior that violate social norms, facility rules, and the law.

+3yr member, decent equipment, great staff, amenities ok
Still can't wrap my head around getting rid of a basketball court that was popular and welcomed all races and ages for a pickleball court that's mostly empty all day except the same 2-3 white geriatrics.
It was cool watching complete strangers coming together for pickup games, little girls practicing their shooting with their dads catching rebounds, real nice community vibe.
Owner def wanted to adjust the demographics and median age smh...

I’ve only been a member here for about a week, and I’m already disappointed with this location—especially given that it’s supposed to be a Black Level Gold’s Gym. The equipment is outdated (even if still functional), the locker rooms are dirty and not maintained, and the built-in locks on the lockers don’t even work. For a facility that markets itself as a higher-tier Gold’s, the standards should be much better.
Another recurring issue is towels. Out of all the days I’ve been here, towels were only available once. Even while I was signing up, I kept hearing staff tell members “10 minutes for towels,” but they never came out. It feels like this is a regular problem that’s not being addressed.
What concerns me most, though, is the environment in the men’s locker room, sauna, and steam room. On multiple occasions I’ve had uncomfortable experiences with men loitering, staring, and even touching themselves in plain sight. Especially in the sauna, literally playing with themselves and staring. This kind of behavior is inappropriate and creates an unsafe atmosphere for members who just want to use the amenities as intended.
To make matters worse, on my most recent visit I witnessed front desk staff being harassed as well. While I was buying a protein drink, the young woman working thanked me for stepping in when an older man was bothering her and hitting on her. That’s not something staff—or members—should have to deal with in what should be a professional and safe environment.
The one positive has been Katie, who signed us up—she’s been awesome and professional. Unfortunately, her effort can’t outweigh the broader problems. At this point, both my wife and I will be cancelling our memberships.
Management really needs to take a serious look at this location—both in terms of facility upkeep, equipment updates and in doing a culture check to make sure members and staff feel safe, respected, and supported. Only then will this gym live up to the Gold’s Gym name.

Great experience. Not too long of a wait for equipment (at noon)/ about 5 min. Cleanliness could use some work, but overall, everything I needed for my workout was in working condition. (Do need to upgrade that seated leg curl machine though)
Thanks for the day pass!

What the hell happened to this gym? I have been a member of Golds for almost 20 years and this used to be my gym. Go to medical center now for the last decade or so. Came back to this gym because I had an appointment nearby and man they let this place go. Machines are dated and not great. Gym was dark and depressing. Locker room was gross. Smelled like mold in there and the toiletries that are supplied like hand soap and stuff were all out and literally no shower had whatever that soap is in there. Towels laying everywhere. The steam room was covered in those paper towels you were supposed to wipe the machines down with. Man. This place used to be amazing. I will stay at the med center lol.

Friendly people and staff, but the gym needs a major upgrade. The facilities are worn out and several amenities (spa, steam room, sauna, hot tub) are frequently out of commission. They also took out the basketball court and replaced it with pickleball courts.

Pretty good gym. Hoist machines are kind of weird to use but that may be personal preference. Many times some of the grips and attachments are broken or tied by customers, which is kind of annoying. I remember one day after the gym purchased new rope attachments for the cables, some of them already had the metal thing that connects it to the cables taken off a day later

In a time of deteriorating customer service, Ulysses at the front desk is a breath of fresh air. He’s always in a good mood and you can tell when he greets you he means it. He remembers almost every customers name & occupation. Really has a passion for what he does and it seems to be rubbing off on the other employees. W for this golds gym

The most disgusting gym ever. I used to go there for over 10 years then I stopped since COVID. I decided to go back yesterday and check it out. Poor maintenance to none and extremely dirty. Very disappointing.

I want this gym to be good, but it just isn't. I think 2.5 stars is a more accurate rating in my view. The staff people are friendly. The facility has just really gone down hill in the last few years. Now, we're losing the basketball court and they can't keep the dry sauna, steam room, or hot tub going in the men's locker room at all. Proximity is the only thing this gym has going for me.
Update: Months later and this gym still can't keep the dry sauna going. I've been several times in the last few weeks and not one time has the dry sauna been up to temperature. Every time it's about 75 degrees below what it's supposed to be. It's ridiculous.

I have only been going to this location for the pool. I wasn't going for awhile and picked back up this past week. The pool used to be great but it is filthy now. The past two times I have gone the pool area is so full of chemicals it smelled like gasoline. The smell was so strong it burned my throat and caused me to wheeze for hours after. I've also seen multiple band aids floating around and all kinds of just dirt and grime.
