For perspective: I am a male in my late 20's that has been going to commercial gyms for over a decade in multiple cities.I have worked out here for 2 years simply because of the proximity to my home and my busy schedule. That is it.I have never written a negative google review on any business before but this is long overdue. This is by far the absolutely most poorly run and maintained commercial gym I have ever seen. It is downright disgusting, broken, ancient, and trashy. Commonly, the bathroom smells like a homeless shelter, and toilets are broken or have not been cleaned in what appears like days. EVERY day, there are multiple stations that are out of paper towels, leading to no one cleaning any machines after use. Machines are broken for weeks at a time, and dumbbells disappear daily. 5 stairclimbers, and yet I have never seen more than 3 of them working. Right now, it is 1 and a half, with one shaking like it is about to blow up. If it rains, there are over a dozen spots inside the gym with literal standing water for days because of leaks in the roof. Half of the gym, including the pool and the sauna, are still closed from the covid era. Excuse to be lazy and shut down half the gym while charging the same price is what it appears like to me.If I did not live minutes away, I would pay double to go somewhere else. Lucky there is not closer competition. The staff must have absolutely zero pride in their job and have no budget from corporate or, most likely, both. Clearly, incompetent management at the extreme. See pictures for proof. Avoid this gym if at all possible - you're welcome.

A very poor quality gym. You can pretty much count on the majority of the equipment to be partially broken or even downright dangerous and in disrepair. Gold's: before responding, go do a thorough inspection of your equipment. Plate numbers are all scratched off, damaged/broken carabiners everywhere, and bent pins substitute the magnetic OEM pins. Not to mention the ever-missing dumbbells, limited quantity of machines, and scarce functioning cables. For $40/month, fitness connection is looking way better at $10. I only come here out of convenience, and MAN it's a shame. What makes you think I'm going to share my personal schedule on a public forum? The gym is still in shambles. Do your safety inspections, maintain your equipment, and give your patrons what they pay for. This place is run down.

The fact that this location along with many other Golds Gym locations have made the permanent decision to close the saunas & indoor swimming pool “Due to Covid” (informed by staff member) is laughable, but also counterintuitive to what a gym represents. Without getting into too many details, for example plenty of research studies have proven that sauna use can actually help reduce the likelihood of a cardiovascular event such as heart attack, stroke etc. and you would assume Golds Gym, the worldwide leader of fitness centers would consider said research before deciding to permanently close some of their most beneficial & sought after facilities such as the sauna, swimming pools, steam rooms etc. “Due to Covid.” While I’ll admit not all Golds locations have these facilities closed, it doesn’t make sense for the ones that do. So does Covid only exist within these closed facilities where only a handful of members can fit in anyway due to their size, but not on the larger gym floor where 99% of the members are?! Do better Golds Gym. Clean toilets though.

The men's locker room has no heat. Only one of 6 shower stalls working. Most of lockers filthy dirty.

Sauna has been down since Covid. Other locations have it back open but seems they don’t care about this one. I have asked employees multiple times and nobody has an answer.

I had to go to this gym because I was in the area. My usual is fiesta trails. The bathrooms were terrible. There’s absolutely no music playing. It’s super quite and dark. It was not motivating at allll to workout here or to even be a member if you live in the area. They definitely need a new location in the area and some Windows. I know many people are moving in the area as well but, this is not the place to choose as a gym. Hopefully they upgrade.

This location looks like it's falling apart with water dripping out of most places and needs a reno. Equipment wise, it's okay, but you might be waiting a while if it's busy.

The location is meh same with the one that they shut down on sw military. But they have workout equipment so that's a plus. The problem is with billing and the scummy tactics they use to extract more money out of you. My card got skimmed and i got a new one and told the bank not to let anything auto renew. Forgot to update golds and got charged fees, my fault on that. I paid it and would have assumed they updated my card on file as well. Next month hit with fees again. So I just cancel my account pay everything in full right then and there. Now I'm getting emails about my account being past due $177 when I haven't been a member in 3 months. At least they dont have the right card on file to keep charging me after canceling.
