Equipment newer but all over the place four different areas for chest is very annoying... only 1 leg press unless ur doing squats go to another gym for legs... also no sauna n u have to be n the secret squirrel club to use the cross fit stuff... decent gym just have another one for your different workouts like tires n laters or anything off schedule

Was in town for a week and visited this gym several times.-Great gym-Equipment looked clean and in working order-Lots of variety of Equipment, free weights and cardio machines-friendly front desk staffOnly con I would say is the music was a bit loud for my taste, (music was OK but i prefer my own) had to crank up my headphones to max volume to drown it out.Other than that it's a solid gym

No suana, overall a good gym. Typical crowds morning and after work.GYM80 seems to be the equipment of newer Golds across the nation except for a few independent locations where you will find Alantis/Prime and other wonderful machines.Has great space and wonderful stretch area.Leg extension, hamstring curl, and vertical press were good to use.Cons: no water bottle refill station, no suana,Only cons: lack of cable attachments (no MAG)I recommend doing legs here for sure, hamstrings in particular ?

Love this gym! We live by The Rim and started driving over to this location. The equipment and colors they picked for the renovations are trendy and make the environment relaxing and cool while working out. I love the open concept while having the sectioning of equipment helps combat the crowd in the evenings. Just finished the GFCC with my bf and Heidi and Austen made it a great and motivating experience. Melissa’s yoga class on Thursday’s is the best! This gym makes me actually want to come to the gym!

I love this gym! Staff are super friendly and courteous. Key to a better experience is to go during off peak hours if possible. Money well spent.

I went here a few years ago for a “free 1-Week Trial”. This branch appealed to me because I work nights and this branch is open 24 hours. It was difficult to start the trial. I arrived and was turned down; I apparently had to print a form from home and the gym didn’t supply the document. When I finally brought the form, that’s when the circus began.A salesperson dressed in workout gear walked out to greet me. He had his elbows flared, chin up and was trying to flex. It was a bazaar act. He probably weighted less than 150.He looked at my document and acted amazed that I’m an RN (such a rare occupation) and that he “has a great friend who was an RN too”. This used-car, Dale Carnegie tactic for gaining rapport was insincere and patronizing. All I wanted was the week-trial. I told him, I really just needed a few days. If I like the equipment and the environment during the midnight hours; then I’ll most likely join. The salesperson wasn’t listening. He was so focused on getting me signed up for personal trainers, that I was changing my mind. Me joining would have been a simple, easy sale; however, this person kept talking. He talked my way out of joining. The salesman drew a Concept Map. It displayed a circle for START; a Star for FINISH, a square for STRENGTH training, a triangle for CARDIO and other nonsense. He drew lines connecting the different symbols in several direction, finally ending up at the Finish. The salesperson, then drew a PT in the corner and informed me „If you get a PERSONAL Trainer“, you can make the path from START to FINISH, like this“. He then, drew a line directly from start to finish in a linear fashion. He explained nothing. His presentation would be amusing for a 5 year old, but not me. I was hurtfully baffled and left confused. The stipulation to the „free trial“ was that I had to go to the gym WHILE this salesperson was on his shift. Why? So he can micromanage me?He waited to tell me this AFTER the gym tour; AFTER his Incessant questions and after his childish presentation. He knew in advance that I would attend the gym during the midnight hours. I told him this directly; yet, he chose to not listen and ignored what I wanted.I really can’t recommend this gym. Why be associated with Used-Car Salesperson pitches. It’s a gym, it should sell itself.

I am delighted to share with you my experience with Dany Baki a personal trainer at Gold’s Gym. The expertise and guidance he's provided through my strength training sessions have been amazing. Dany consistently redesigns my sessions to keep me progressing and as a result I have noticed increased long-term endurance, core strength, and improved ability to manage daily stress. Furthermore, Dany is professional, encouraging, and a joy to work with. He is true gem! If you are looking for a personal trainer he is definitely the best of the best!
