Y’all stop being stingy and open the pool/jacuzzi, why should I drive when I pay good money for Gold’s Gym? I’ll change it to five stars if you do right by your patrons and fix and maintain the facilities.

Although it can get busy at peak times this will always be my favorite gym. They have the most variety for equipment and the friendliest people. It’s so far from my house but it’s worth the drive!

Gym has great equipment, but I did not give a high rating due to a few things: every time I'm in here, guests are working out with either no shirt, no shoes, or both (mainly in the room with the squat racks). Employees don't seem to notice or care. Same for recording; there are so many people who record their workouts here, so if you don't want to constantly try to avoid being in the background of some influencer-hopefuls, this is not your place to workout. Finally, every time I'm in the locker room, there is someone recording themselves. Again, if you don't want to in the background of someone's video as you're trying to change clothes, this is not the place for you. Unfortunately, staff does not appear to care about this either.

Let me introduce you all to the Planet Fitness of Golds Gyms. My billing cycle has been messed up since day 1 with this gym. So instead of the $39.99 I get hit with the $20 late fee that no one can fix for some reason. Paying $60 on two memberships ends up being $120 a month. No matter how many times I talk to people, switch, cards, pay on the due date in person it’s always the $120. Now let’s move onto how not clean it is here. It’s been 3 times now that I’ve had to tweeze metal shavings from the gym equipment out of my hands which it likely digging in what looks like years of grime from the barbells deep into my skin. Everything you pick up will be unquestionably dirty. Place needs a deep clean and more educated staff when it comes to account issues. But maybe that’s my mistake for having high expectations for a gym with the “Golds” logo attached to it.

The best gym in San Antonio. Great and latest gym equipment. The gym has everything for every type of fitness enthusiast from bodybuilding, crossfit and group classes. Highly recommended if you're looking for a gym.

Equipment newer but all over the place four different areas for chest is very annoying... only 1 leg press unless ur doing squats go to another gym for legs... also no sauna n u have to be n the secret squirrel club to use the cross fit stuff... decent gym just have another one for your different workouts like tires n laters or anything off schedule

Was in town for a week and visited this gym several times.-Great gym-Equipment looked clean and in working order-Lots of variety of Equipment, free weights and cardio machines-friendly front desk staffOnly con I would say is the music was a bit loud for my taste, (music was OK but i prefer my own) had to crank up my headphones to max volume to drown it out.Other than that it's a solid gym
