I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at this Gold’s Gym. In addition to getting fired abruptly and in an unprofessional manner, this area is increasingly becoming more and more crime ridden. Keep your guard up when visiting. The pool will never open again. The AC will never work properly in the summer, nor winter for that matter. Every product in this gym can be purchased for cheaper at the HEB just up the road. Payment methods are slow and outdated. As a gym, it’s at the lower end of middle-of-the-pack compared to other gyms in the area.

I love this gym! I had a membership here when I lived here and got a summer membership while I’m visiting. The yoga classes with Iris are my favorite. All the staff are really friendly and it’s small and quiet, which I love.

Love this gym it might be small but it has everything I need. Had to cancel my membership for a bit but definitely will be back.

This gym may be small to some but has everything you need to get an effective workout. Kelly is the sweetest and most understanding General Manager I know! She constantly shows her passion for fitness and will point you in the right direction to achieve your goals. The gym is always kept very clean as well. I definitely recommend visiting this location.

This is my favorite Gold's Gym. It is probably the smallest but has everything you need for a good workout.

It's really hot in this gym. Stop trying to save money and make it a comfortable temperature to work out. Ever since the European company took over gold's, all they do is try to cut corners and the expense of the customer. I think it's time to go to LA fitness or fitness connection. Maybe if enough people leave they'll go into bankruptcy and someone that actually cares about the customers will buy it. One could only hope.

wonderful gym. But the lack of incompetent professionals, it's been months since it's been out and making the invoices every month that I've been out of my account, canceled several email and nothing continues to charge

Really turned off by the fact that there is an area off limits that has all the workout equipment I want to use. Asked about being able to use it and it’s required to pay for a class and personal trainer.This is horrible. Make rings and a standard power station for calisthenics available to your patrons, not just select patrons.

I normally go to Golds on Bulverde but come to this one several times a week to avoid that morning traffic as I work close by this location. I don’t mind the workout area being warm but I can’t deal with the locker area being warm. I saw a review from 2 months ago where someone complained about this and the managers response was that the a/c was being worked on. Is it still being worked on 2 months later? I asked front desk about this and they said it’s due to the sauna being in locker area. Bulverde Golds is also in the locker area and it’s not hot in there. Besides this issue, everything else in this gym is nice. Not too crowded when I go. Hopefully this can be fixed soon or I’ll have to try my luck at a different gym.

This has been my go-to spot for Gold's Gym around SA. They have the friendliest staff, I've been to many around SA and not all are welcoming.
