Visit was ok… a bit of waiting for blood test. However, getting results of blood test has been challenging. I’ve called for the results of the test for weeks & I’m always told that no one is available to speak to me & that they will call me back. It’s been six weeks since my blood was drawn & I still have not been called back even though I have called multiple times… so disappointing to say the least.

Great staff, little wait and super responsive. They even checked in on me at home first thing in the morning after my ambulatory procedure.

Good place to get colonoscopy but... This was my 4th one and 3rd location so I have plenty to compare to. 1. Started with 1st phone call. Message was spoken so fast and garbled I did not understand a word. 2. Appt time(s) all mixed up. I made appt for noon, expecting that was when procedure would start. Remember...this is 2nd day of essentially no food. I scheduled ride to get there at 11:30. Using portal, it shows appt is 2pm, be there at 12:30. Huh? I expected to be finished at 2 and eating again. Nope. That happened after 4pm. Good thing I have no issues about timing food except hungry tummy. 3. I got there an hour early but was still processed early and went right to the back. The only good thing plus the staff were all excellent...when they were there. 4. I told 2 staff that I would like to use restroom before procedure. They did all their paperwork then put side rails up and left. No one answered when I called out for assistance. I crawled out the foot of the bed... twice because my wait was the extra hour. No one came until it was on THEIR schedule to move me along. 5. After procedure, I was offered a beverage. It never came. But someone sure did to escort me out when my ride came. Again, no offer to use restroom first. 6. Can't fairly evaluate dr. He was very nice the 1 minute before the procedure and 1 minute after. Medicare pays very little so patients get basic economy experience. I'm sure the place would like to offer their best but insurance makes them put quantity over upgraded quality.

I've been a patient since 1994, with Dr Masters who recently retired and now Dr Wendorf, and I highly recommend anyone to use this GI practice and facility. Everyone is super friendly and I've never had any problems in the 30 years I've been a patient.

I was dreading this procedure at first - it was my first colonoscopy, but from the moment I checked in, to the moment I left, I encountered only extremely nice, caring, professionals that took excellent care of me; I felt Well cared for and no longer afraid. I highly recommend DR. SAJNEET KHANGURA and Gastroenterology Consultants of San Antonio.

From start to finish, my experience with Gastroenterology Consultants of San Antonio was great. They were very professional and explained the procedure I was having quite thoroughly. In a calm and friendly environment, I was relaxed throughout the procedure.

I've been going to Gastroenterology Consultant for two years everyone there receptionist included are very helpful nice and get you started on your visit. My nurse is amazing and very knowledgeable of my condition and I'm very thankful for the entire team.

Dr Rapaka has excellent bedside manner and communicates very clearly with little medical jargon.
I took my 90 yr old Mother to see him for upper GI issues and he was so kind as he explained the treatment plan. He answered all her questions and relieved her anxiety. Highly recommend him and his great office staff.

The process was extremely fast and easy, no long waiting, in and out just like they said it would be! If you’re gonna be doing a colonoscopy procedure, I highly recommend this place!
