As a huge silent Hill fan I went in and asked if whenever it's time to take down to silent Hill to 2 poster if I can have it.
They let me know sure they don't know when they're going to take it down so just to keep calling every few weeks maybe once a month and they will hold it for me.
Got to speak to one of the managers and said that's fine if they're just going to throw it away I can take it they'll hold it for me.
And then when I called to check in they threw it away two weeks ago.
I know I called and I went in store a few times asking about that poster that I've been checking in with them about.
I know it sounds petty but I am absolutely livid and don't want to step foot in this GameStop again

The staff will accuse you of being a liar when you try to simply swap out a $80 controller that was defective for another one. They are extremely hostile. It’s no surprise the company is failing.

Everyone’s amazing. Best team I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with in GameStop.

I have been to the store twice in one month and each time it was closed right in the middle of the day. Very disappointing.

Do not buy your gifts at GameStop! If I could give a star less than 1, I would.I bought my daughters a new $75 game for their switch for Christmas. Instead of buying from Amazon, Walmart, etc. i decided to give GameStop a try. I purchased the game right after Thanksgiving because I heard it was a popular game. A relative also bought them the same game that they received before Christmas. When I tried to return this unopened game with my receipt the day after Christmas, I was told they have a 15 day return policy and their is nothing they can do. I asked to speak to the manager, Leo, and he refused to help. When I asked for the District manager’s name and number, leo gave me the name but refused to give me the DM’s number, because he said he doesn’t like taking calls and has specifically asked his employees not to give his number for customer complaints.Do yourself a favor and buy your games from somewhere that will allow you to return them. Don’t give your business to this company, I never will again.

Always been a HUGE supporter of GameStop… until I came to the one at De Zavala.BEWARE: The manager Leo has an attitude that’s beyond NASTY. It’s unfortunate he’s there every day scaring people off. He’s regularly very dismissive and douchey to paying customers and speaks horribly to his own employees too which isn’t a good look at all.I called in to ask for squishmallows once since only certain GameStops carry them and was told “Look, I don’t know nothing about squishmallows. Call someone else.” On another occasion he refused to hold an item after he confirmed it was in stock.TLDR; Leo whatshisname has ZERO people skills, manners, charisma, likability or leadership capability. Go to any other GameStop or better yet, support a small business.

store rep Dylon is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. blatantly lies to paying customers and has zero empathy. should not be employed in customer service.

They used my coupons on my account, then reset the register during the sale which erased my coupons from my account and asked if they could use up my points too once it came back up. AFTER making me wait ten minutes to reset the register during the sale. Terrible location would not go

Apparently if you ask to see something off the shelf the initial thought is to hold it a foot away. Doesn’t help literally another gentlemen had no issues holding merchandise. Crazy the difference in customer service

A lazy location where the workers have little discipline.

Firstl of all I love game stop this review Is the Game Stop employee who forgot what customer service was and got on a power trip because he refused a return. Then he " didn't have to give me his name" . I tried to return a toy that was $17.25 lost my receipt. He didn't offer to help me at all. He could have called corporate. He acted like I stole this. I told him what store even gave him the manager name who sold it to me but he really got high on his horse and no and there was not any way he could do the return without a receipt. Which is a total lie. He needs to go back through customer service training. I know retail very well. I was a store manager for a big box store for a long time 20 years and I have seen this pathic attempt for customer service. Avoid thus location AT IH 10 and dezavala San Antonio Texas. And the store was messy.

I rarely leave reviews, but I had to in this case. I went in to trade in my PS4 for a PS5. I normally frequent this store as it is close to where I live. The individual working (young scruffy guy with glasses) told me that my system would be defective. Then he told me he can't take the system since it was not updated. But that makes no sense since it would be defective anyway. I would imagine GameStop would scrub it all.Once he told me that, I knew I would never return to this location. I happen to go across to Huber oaks and was helped with no issues. They took my trade and in around two days I sent $300 and this store is now my primary one. I guess the person was just lazy. Anyway, the Store Manager may want to check. Store 4677 will get all of my business now.

Went in today to buy a game and the associate was acting like I was inconvenincing him when I couldn't get my power up rewards to work because he was talking to a friend and there was no one else in line. I will never shop here again.
