Staff at this location are very friendly. They had a buy limit on pokemon cards which is a massive Chad move for the real fans and collectors.

Simple narrow layout. More collection of actual games than most stores. Far more retro games as well (psp,ps3) associates were friendly

Two employees need to be scheduled 7 days a week. This store in particular is very bad at answering their phone. I’ve been calling since noon today, 17, march 2025. I had a simple question, I thought maybe there’s an event at the store today? I called another location, got my answer but had to go to that store since the transaction made was at the nachodoches location in San Antonio. I drive there to attempt to take care of it before it’s too late. Behold now no one is there, this is not the first time I just so happen to take pictures twice! But it’s happened far more than that! Is it hard to answer the phone and at least place the customer on hold? The employees seem to be friendly in person, but are notorious, about these two particular things. This is an ongoing issue with this location, yes employees need breaks and lunches; but also this type of store needs two employees, they open at noon.

Employees are really nice and greet you when you walk in but they never have any pokemon stocked. Not a literal single time I've stopped on the way home after work. It's gamestop pokemon day and there's nothing to even buy to earn the promo except a charizard ex box for 20$ more than it costs at target so it's hard to justify stopping to check anymore.

By far the best GameStop in SA! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff have always helped me out. Always has great stock and inventory. Will definitely recommend this shop to all my friends and family. Thank you GameStop!

This is more of a review for GameStop as a whole.
I ordered MTG product, a Commander Deck called Endless Punishment, and received the wrong deck. In addition the product was damaged!
I called the customer service line and they said that the order said “Styles may vary”. I thought this was an innocent mistake and said I would like a refund and I can return the product. I was told all sales are final. Now I’ve grown frustrated but asked what other options I have and was told that I can call the GameStop hotline but an in-store employee had to connect me.
I couldn’t spare more time for the conversation and had to leave it there. I do not recommend using GameStop online services, buy elsewhere.

I baught a xbox 360 s .The first time was missing a power cable from the box drove 30 min away.then to find out controller don't even work power botton don't work and now they tell me to find a nother console from another game stop.bru do they not check like dam I need to drive home to find out

The employees are nice but I've gone to this place multiple times only to see a paper sign on the door saying they will be back in 1 to 2 hours. Y'all need more coverage
