This is a quaint little artist shop in the center of downtown San Antonio. The owner makes most of the merchandise he sells, and it is reasonably priced. He has some very unique pieces that are worth the look.

Ah, a little haven that Dale Chihuly and Venice artisans would no doubt support! Vetro is, after all, the Italian word for their specialty here! They are always changing their "exhibits" and products- exhibits that can luckily be bought! They have a plethora of unique items, from large scale art pieces to animal sculptures; lighting options that are as beautiful as they are bright to utensils almost too lovely to eat and drink with; miniature handmade Christmas ornaments; from elaborate earrings to pretty prints, there is something for everyone!
A hidden gem loved by locals, a favorite detour before a show at any of the four performing art venues within walking distance- one literally steps away, so close that anybody who has been to a show has inevitably passed by while waiting in line to get through security! Their success in such a prime location is evidenced by their 25th anniversary this year, having been established way back in 1999, with a 10 year anniversary at their present location downtown.
The service here is phenomenal. I challenge you to find fault here. Even though I have only ever bought something once, I confess that I have been here without purchasing anything more than a dozen times. The owner, Philip, and any other employees, has never reacted or treated me any differently. Friendly, welcoming, all smiles. More than once I have been inspired to smile back, even though I might not have been feeling it a moment before. Who knows- this might be a form of art therapy!

Here from out of town on a short trip but had scheduled going to this place during their open hours after 12:30 on Sunday. Walked over there from our hotel in the heat only to discover that they don’t feel like opening up until after the Michael Jackson show at the Majestic, which I’m sure the staff had tickets to. This of course, was not indicated anywhere online nor on a phone message. We were actually planning to spend a few hundred or thousands of dollars if we really liked what we saw. Very disappointed that you did not update your hours online. The majestic theater has been there for 100 years. Not everyone who visits San Antonio is going to a show. You kind of messed up our day , thanks a lot. ???

This shop is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown San Antonio. It is located right above the Riverwalk and has a unique and gorgeous collection of glass art, ornaments, artwork, and jewelry. The owner is very nice and has an obvious passion for collecting and curating beautiful things. I picked up a couple earrings from Suzanne Schaars (Netherlands) and Sandrine Giraud (Paris) that will go with my modern, minimalist aesthetic. I will make it a point to come back every time I'm in town. Go support local!

We purchased this exquisite piece from Vitro Gallery! It is absolutely beautiful and is a great addition to our condo wall! We have received several compliments from our friends on how beautiful it is—definitely an eye catcher!If you are ever on Houston Street or going to the Majestic Theater, Vitro Gallery (right next to the Majestic) is a must stop! You will love all the beautiful glass artwork and jewelry. It is all unique and the quality of the pieces are amazing! Believe me, you won’t regret stopping by this small business and looking at the amazing art pieces and meeting the owner Phillip. I have known Philip and patronized Gallery Vetro for over 15 years. They have consistently offered exceptional and unusual pieces of art at every price range. The only thing more outstanding than the actual art itself is the attention and care provided by its staff to ensure that the packages are as beautifully wrapped as the content inside. Truly, a San Antonio treasure!

This place is super gorgeous and you'd want to buy every glass piece here. Each piece is designed so that you'd even want it protected from air itself. They have unique items here. My brother ended up buying a wooden magnetic bow tie! It was exquisite.
