I would never recommend this place. Without a doubt terrible service, I took my pet and they only laughed when I turned around. There was no good treatment or respect for me. Zero stars.

Very incompetent workers. There are 5 people in reception, the 5 people are on their phone and when a customer arrives they get annoyed and start treating them badly or making fun of them so that the customer prefers to leave and not attend to them. If I could put 0 stars I would. That lack of respect and that lack of professionalism of the place.

When it comes to my pets’ healthcare I want the very best. I don’t want shortcuts or quick fixes; I want quality care, guidance, and expertise. The folks at Family Pet Hospital are *amazing*.
They’ve helped care for two of our dogs and our cat for more than a decade.
They even helped us diagnose a rare condition for the cat, worked with us on acquiring very difficult to find medication, facilitated the climate-controlled shipping of that medication, and extended the lifespan of a terminally ill cat. It was way above and far beyond.
It’s also great that they offer on-site boarding at a competitive rate. We always have peace of mind leaving our dog here knowing he’s getting attention, care, and is always in good hands while we’re away.
We’ve been clients for a long time and hope to continue to bringing our animals to Family Pet Hospital of Stone Oak.

My dog Axe crossed the rainbow bridge at Family Pet Hospital of Stone Oak. Although one of the hardest and darkest moment of my life with my dog of 11 years, the staff and veterinarian gave me much comfort. They treated Axey with so much love, care and compassion that it made me feel comforted during his last moments with me. I highly recommend this veterinary hospital.

We love bringing our dogs here. We have two dogs that keep us busy, getting hurt, eating things they shouldn't, you name it..they are typical dogs. Every time we visit the vets spend lots of time with us. We never feel rushed when we see the doctor. For those reviewers who say they are expensive I have two words for you...PET INSURANCE. I have found that the doctors will work with us to ensure everything is coded properly to help we get reimbursed quickly through our insurance, I have always found them to be strong advocate of the pets and also their families. There is no where else we would go for our boys when they get sick or injured

Dr Stewart has been such a great source of knowledge and insight regarding my pet with cancer and a heart murmur. The doctor has provided honest and valuable feedback regarding my pet which has allowed me to make good decisions regarding my pets health and wellbeing. This has been a very difficult time for my family but with Dr.Stewart by our side we feel comfortable in the decisions made despite our fur baby’s condition. I love the vets at this clinic and I could not say better things about their care and attention to my pet. Highly recommend, thank you family pet hospital! Not to mention, the staff is very attentive and kind throughout all.

Dr. Stewart has been an absolute gem. Even though I've moved across town, the exceptional quality of care they provide is worth every minute of the half-hour-plus drive. Whether it's the warm smiles from the administrative staff or the attentive care from the doctors, every interaction is brimming with genuine compassion. And even my needy husky, who's a frequent flyer at the clinic, is treated with the utmost care and patience.And on a personal note, if you're looking to pamper your pets, look no further than Myranda, the pet stylist. Her attention to detail ensures that your furry companions leave looking and feeling their absolute best. It's incredibly reassuring to know that my pets are not only receiving top-notch medical care but also getting pampered by such capable and caring hands.

Terrible customer service. They won’t fill a prescription for my dog over two weeks. They continue to say we can’t make a simple call to pet meds it’s not our job. Never will come back. Place is a joke.

We took our Frenchie here for stenotic nares and had the best experience! We loved the staff from the front, the vets to the back. Everyone cared about our baby like she was theirs and they were always happy to see all of us. I can't say enough positive things!!!

I normally don’t write many reviews. Today I needed to bring my sweet cat Nola in for euthanasia. The hardest thing any pet owner has to do. Dr. Stewart is the most amazing, loving, compassionate vet I have ever met. The staff took Nola in the back, came back with her wrapped her in a beautiful quilt, we all talked to Nola and Dr. Stewart brought in a dish of treats for Nola to eat. It was so sweet to see this gesture of genuine love and kindness. As awful as today was, Dr. Stewart and the staff made her last day beautiful. I appreciate the caring and support, not only for Nola but for me. And the hug I truly needed. Thank you Dr. Stewart from the bottom of my ❤️ heart. Nola left this world surrounded with love and dignity and thanks to you and your team.God BlessI HIGHLY recommend this practice. They were also amazing with my other 2 cats Spookster and Bat, who are happy and healthy due to the caring staff at this office.

Been going for the last 10 years, couldn't be happier with the service and care that all my fur babies receive. The staff are all very caring and highly trained. Dr Woolley is fantastic with all my pets and handles exotics as well.
