One of the great things about doing business with Discount Tire is that your warranty is good at any location. I know zero about cars, just that it drives or doesn't. Thankfully I have people like Discount Tire that can look after my car even when I am out of town. When I was driving through San Antonio from Dallas I noticed that my car didn't seem to be driving correctly, so I stopped in to this location for some peace of mind that it was safe to drive. It turned out that one of my tires had a serious issue, and they were not only able to quickly resolve the issue, they were courteous, very forthcoming by showing me the issue, and actually had me back on the road an hour faster than anticipated. That is customer service! On a 100 degree day, the cold water in the fridge was also a nice touch. Thanks so much for your help and speedy service!

Not a good experience, but an awesome one! Abraham was friendly, everything was clearly explained to me and the wait time was reasonable. A very cool & clean waiting room and the restrooms were spotless. I will never go anywhere else for the services they provide. ????????

Been to this location many times. Typically, service is great; however, past couple of times makes me question why bother to make an appointment if your vehicle will only be serviced in the order that you walked in. I have watched several customers being called who are walk-ins (no appointment) and arr being serviced before me. ?

I’ve gone to this location multiple times before and had great experiences. This last visit, though, was awful. Had a flat (saw a nail sticking out), brought it to be repaired. Didn’t have an appointment and had to wait 4ish hours total. I was asked several times if I had made an appointment the day before. I didn’t have a flat tire then. After being told by some who “took a look” and didn’t see a nail, I was assured they would take my van back and see what was causing the leak. I watched as several mechanics and a manager? (Someone in a red shirt with keys to a back room) ran over to the man working on my van in some sort of panic after taking my tire off screaming out “a SENSOR!!!! We need a sensor!!!”. After about 10 minutes, another employee in a red shirt came up and told me, not asked, that my sensor was always faulty and I needed to replace it. He said “but, the air pressure light is like always on, right?”. I corrected him and told him that it was not always on and it only came on that morning because I HAD A FLAT. We went back and forth several times and finally he said “well that one is dead and the other 3 tires have low batteries, so you’ll need to replace all the sensors”. I declined. I was already told I needed new lug nuts, which I went ahead and bought. I wasn’t about to pay for something that was not broken before I came in. They broke my sensor somehow and tried to flip the narrative. Kinda bummed, but these places are a dime a dozen. Would highly recommend not using this location.

Tried to order 4 tires and schedule service online; but it wouldn't let me check out. Using the chat feature on the website, Baily took my order and applied the military discount and informed me that the location will contact me to schedule the service.
Next morning en route to work, Discount Tire called me and said they could get the tires from a local warehouse by 10AM. So, dropped the car off before going to the office and at 10:51, I got a text stating my vehicle was ready to pick up.
Picked up the car and everything was exactly what I ordered. I have staggered wheels, so the front and rear tires are different sizes. Discount Tire was proficient and knowledgeable. Excellent service and good prices. I am very pleased. Thank you.

I usually have a very nice experience whenever I go to the Discount Tire store on Loop 410 by Academy Sports. The personnel there are very professional and courtesy.
