Large-scale call center based in San Antonio Texas. The large employee division is partitioned into many individual groups that focus on the specific sub task within the overall goal providing excellent customer service, meeting the needs and looking to go the extra mile whenever possible for the client.

The mail service of Caremark is a joke. No one can complete a task over the phone from the Philippines ( I’m making an assumption here) and no problem ever gets answered or dealt with thru the app or website.

Worst company ever. I have been recieiving prescription coverage through cvs for years for the same 3 prescriptions. All of the sudden they rejected prior authorizations on 2 of the 3 stating "I dont fit the coverage criteria". My doctor has sent multiple prior auths and they continue to reject them. When I asked them why they paid these out for years and stopped all of the sudden they were not able to give a speecific answer. I am now 2 months in not being able to cover my prescriptions. Evil people trying to charge employers to cover folks and than simply refuaing to do what they are paid to do.

Incredibly bad service with employees who don’t give a s—t. Every time I need a refill I have to call at least twice and often more. It’s actually faster to walk to the nearest pharmacy than use this service. My doctor sent in 3 prescriptions and when I called Caremark for status they said they only received 2. Had doctor send the missing one in again. Now they’re telling me they never received the other 2 which they previously confirmed they had received. They called me to set up an automatic refill service. Despite the fact that they’ve been receiving and filling prescriptions from my current doctor all year, they will no longer do so. I asked for a denial of service/coverage letter and told them I would give this to my doctor so I can get new prescriptions to take somewhere else. They told me they won’t do this because “they would love to assist me with my prescriptions but haven’t received any”. Apparently they don’t document their files with previous info on patient accounts because, unlike in the past, when my doctor sent these in they somehow “disappeared” from their system. So far, in the past couple weeks I’ve had 3 calls with them and one trip back to my doctor and am almost out of one of these prescriptions. I’m sure they understand but don’t care that for some people their lives could depend on their medications and these monumental screw ups could have serious consequences.

I would rate zero stars if I could! Not a good company to work for at all.Stay away from here. Becky was a very unprofessional SME and she would always pick her favorites and she would never help me when I was in training and she was rude to people because she was mad that nobody liked her and she was mad that she got made fun of for being overweight and she was mad that she got made fun of because she looks like a dude.Eliza was not a great manager at all. All she would tell me was“I'm sorry you feel that way".I think Eliza is upset that she is losing her hair so that's why she was rude and that's why she was always wearing caps. Eliza would always try and justify the impossible metrics that no agent was ever able to achieve and she always would try to justify when me and the other agents were being degraded by these customers over the phone by saying that we have to understand that the customers are just upset.Ummm…no you old lady eliza. Nobody should take abuse by any customer, even if it is part of the job or even if the customer is upset. We are humans. Not robots. We couldn’t even hang up on these rude customers. What kind of multi-million dollar company puts the customers first and the employees second?I’ll tell ya!A company named CVS Caremark that DOES NOT care about the employees that work for them! That’s why a lot of people quit that place and that’s why there is a lot of turnover at that company. The metrics there were near impossible to meet. These Karens calling about their medications and deductibles are annoying.like geez! It’s not my fault or any other agents fault that those people have a high deductible.next time they need to pick a better plan! But them calling in to the call center and belittling the workers who have nothing to do with their plan or who have nothing to do with their issue is not gonna fix it.Stay away from this place.

Aetna is FORCING us to use Carmack, which is wrong. First, they kept delivering important diabetic meds to the wrong house for 3 months and it took weeks of complaints to fix. Next, they keep sending you meds when you say STOP, and we get the Ozempic pen inside a massive box with gel pacs that are environmentally unfriendly. All for what, money of course. When I retire it wont be here in America, that would be STUPID! Nothing but greedy companies here.

CVS Caremark is well short on caring about customers. They don’t deserve the one required star. I was on hold for 3 hours and 21 minutes to discuss a prescription that their online system said I wasn’t eligible for, for two more months. This is why I needed to speak to a human being since I was discharged from the hospital this afternoon but couldn’t get a new script filled until two months. Once I was able to speak to a pharmacist all I got was excuses about long lines and low staffing. The online system made a mistake and my prescription was ready for pickup. They couldn’t have texted me this information because they were too busy. Please stop putting up with the excuses and put this place out of business.

Worst place to get medication. Took me a month to get medication after transferring to them. Now they are wanting to charge my card instead of insurance for an expensive medication. When you call you will be transferred at least 3 times and guaranteed the last person will send you back to the first person. And there's more. A lot more. Just don't use them.

Worked for this facility 15.7 years. Not same company I started way back then. New management cover up alot and find ways to make your work environment has hard as possible. New supervisor was the worse in my opinion ? ? would not recommend to work nor use their mail service ?. Poor Training and large employees turn out. Company does everything to avoid paying retirement by dismissing employees that are there years. Company publishing how they care.. is false.Open door policy doesn't work. Advise and counsel neither. Department will do things and pretend they are following protocol?I committed myself and had health disabilities. Missed 33 hours total in 2 months.. they jumped from 2nd write up to 4th one = termination. Previous write up were frivolous issues to have them wait almost 16 years to decide to point out n write me up for. Ridiculous and unnecessary. But made someone look good.Karma shall follow them all in management. I know that for a fact. This is what happens there!

I Worked There For 10yrs, From 10/2005 To 02/2015. I Did Enjoy My Time Working There, The Benefits & Pay Were Good. Did Get Along With Several Managers & Trainers, Which Are No Longer There From What I've Heard. However, Before I Was Dismissed After One Verbal And Two Writes For Taking Too Long On Calls That Were Escalated Calls, Which I Was Told To Try To De-escalate The Call, I Wasn't Shown Or Appreciated As Giving The Company 10yrs. Only That I Was Not Following Company Policy And Procedures. I Tried To Re-apply in 2020 To See If They Would Re-hire back, But I Was Given The Impression That They Didn't Want Me Back.

Honestly worst company I have ever worked for. They hire in bulk because they really don’t care about their employees. I got COVID and called to try to arrange that and was not even given the chance to. If you have an emergency it’s either quit or not attend an emergency. Their process does not accept doctors note and will write you up because you had a medical emergency because it’s either call out or be at work. Was forced to resign but it was just so much of their SLAVE DRIVING that I couldn’t anymore. The pay is good but you have to basically not be human and have no life events happening.
