I’m a white guy with basic Spanish speaking skills. The meat counter associates are always helpful. The new store is planning to open after the 1st of the year. Directly behind the old one. In all honesty I like the store. It’s close to home. I expect they will step up their game when the new store opens.

I've given this store 2 stars in order to counter the current rating drastically. This is because in the past year I have been continously over charged at the register. This happens in more ways than one; charged for an item twice, charged for one item that belonged to the next customer, and charged $1 more for this or that.The quality of the products here are irrelevant if you have to always keep an eye out for theft.

This is the third time in a row we have bought carne asada at this location and the meat is so tough and stiff you can't even eat it really disappointed and a waste of money definitely not returning to this location anymore

I went in here looking for something specific. I saw immediately after one pass by the meat counter that they did not carry it. When my husband indicated to the guy behind the counter that we were just looking, he mumbled a racist remark under his breath at my husband. Despite his white wife, he is still able to speak Spanish. This type of behavior by the employees is disgusting and uncalled for. I will NEVER purchase anything here. They should be ashamed of themselves. On a side note the pricing was much higher than that of both HEB and Walmart.

We love getting meat from this place, the steaks are always delicious and high quality. I don't speak any Spanish but am able to communicate with the Spanish speaking workers just fine, just be patient and kind!

I bought 3 pounds of stew pork meat. To make pork meat with Calabasa. I get home and pour the bag of meat into a pan and find that there’s bones in the meat. Needless to say I was not happy! I ended up having to cut off the bone from the meat and there was quite a bit. Just FYI for anyone who is thinking about buying that, a child could choke on that an elderly person could also. Or you could break a tooth. Not happy about my purchase.

Music too loud. The store associates can't hear you. They don't greet you even if you say good morning first.The cashier looks like in a bad mood. Smells terrible. I have never shop in this store even though I live near by. Anyways overall not a nice experience for me. O wonder I wasn't interested in shopping there. I'll continue to not visit this store.
