Was recently visiting there and purchased some jewelry and sink. Their work is beautiful. The items we purchased were well priced given the workmanship. They shipped home for us at no charge as well. Amazing artwork.

I was here yesterday with my mother, my boyfriend and uncle and aunt from my dads side, all was good visiting the shops at la villita, when we entered copper gallery we were greeted with just a smile by a lady working polishing some copper dishes, my uncle straggled in shortly after on his phone, upon joining us looking at some nick nacks on the table when you enter he told us how his friend was collecting tea pots and he was about to take a picture to send to her, we all told him as soon as he was about to that we couldn't take pictures as it was stated on some signs around the shop that he had missed, with out hesitation he puts his phone away, the lady working came out from around from the register and got very close to my uncle and for some reason decided to tell him in Spanish "you can't take pictures, it's clearly written on the signs." I don't know what got to me more upset, the fact that she used a very aggressive tone or the fact she decided to tell my uncle in Spanish when he doesn't even speak it fluently. My family kinda ignored her and proceeded to keep looking making our way around the shop, the lady working continued to follow us around and stared at us anytime we picked up an item to look at it. I felt so physically uncomfortable that I had to walk out of the store before my family. Definitely the only bad experience I had at la villita during my visit.

Beautiful pieces, some a little expensive but most art is. The staff was not pushy at all. I bought a couple things and then went back the next day when I couldn't stop thinking about a vase I had originally decided was a little too pricey.

If you have a nickel allergy, do not buy jewelry at this place. The sales lady said it didn't contain nickel in the copper pieces. Now my finger is green

This is my favorite shop in SA. And possibly one of my favorite shops of all time. I have to stop everytime I'm in town, even if I don't buy anything, just to look. Gorgeous craftsmanship. Great for gifts. Check out the copper with silver inlay technique pieces.
