Knowledgeable. Friendly. Helpful. If we could have bought the whole store, we would have. Wish we had gone to contactModern before all the chain furniture stores. So many great pieces. We bought a beautiful credenza, in amazing condition, and even got help loading it AND blankets, on loan, to bring it home. Well worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back.

We purchased a dresser and night stand set that is gorgeous! We originally purchased the dresser and they let us know about the nightstand which was in storage. Wonderful customer service, great products. Looks awesome in the room!

Great pieces and great service! My mom and I are currently remodeling and in the process of sourcing furniture, so we have gone several times, and every time we always find the greatest inventory! Our most recent trip, we purchased a Danish bookcase and Catherine was so amazing! She met us at the store the next day (they were closed) so that we could pick it up! We will definitely keep going back and recommend everyone go check it out!

I recently picked up a lovely vintage cocoon pendant from there. I'm based in Austin, but they were kind enough to hold it for me so I could check it out in person. Santiago was incredibly helpful and kind. Overall, had an excellent shopping experience. And of course their collection is top-notch and perfectly edited. Can't wait to go back.

We have found some of our most awesome pieces of vintage furniture and decor at Contact Modern. They have the most wonderful, eclectic selection of vintage mid-century modern and Danish modern inventory in such wonderful condition and at reasonable prices. We stopped by today, as we frequently do, just to see what was new, and left with the most cool, vintage floor lamp imaginable. The owner, Catherine is just delightful, so helpful and friendly. Stop in and check it out, you’ll love it.

We have been in the shop a few times, and they always have beautiful, high quality items. The staff is so friendly. We finally purchased this painting we had our eyes on, and are so happy we did! Will definitely be back.

I popped into contactModern a couple of months ago with the goal of being inspired. All my expectations were exceeded. I had been searching all morning for a local spot to do some reading and writing. Upon entry, the owner, Catherine, and her friend (who was visiting) greeted me warmly and invited me to sit in a chair that they said was "made for" me. I sat in the chair and visited with these wonderful women for a while, listening to their stories and passions for the mid-century furniture that surrounded us in the shop. I ended up purchasing that chair as well as two lamps, which have gone into making my very own little reading nook at home. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchases. Over these last two months, I've enjoyed these high-quality pieces every single day, and I truly do feel like they were "made for me." I appreciate the customer service, the pricing, the support in loading items into the car, and the expertise I experienced at this shop. Highly recommend. Thank you, Catherine, for helping me find that perfect reading and writing spot after all!

Catherine was amazing. Very knowledgeable and patient with us. We found our unicorn on Saturday and had it delivered to Houston on Monday. The moving company she uses were top notch! Very delicate large piece and not a scratch on it and all class was intact Can’t wait to do more business with them!
