BEWARE. I have been living here going on my second year. And I regret that decision horribly. They have a terrible roach infestation !! Which tells me they don’t do maintenance or proper pest inside the units! The parking is literally a battlefield everyday to find one near your apartment! They look great, but DO NOT waste your time. They also do not tell you if you will construction above you! I called the office and they told me they are only allowed up to 5 days in the unit, yet the guy has been in there for MONTHS. I get it it’s construction, but would’ve been nice to have a warning. I work overnights, and they aren’t considerate in regardless to units around them. I have called due to countless times of them just dropping tools on the ground and EXCESSIVELY LOUD completely EXCESSIVE loud STOMPS THAT GO ONE FOR HOURS even past “business hours” in which they can work. I can not WAIT to leave.

I have been living in this apartment complex for over two years, and my experience has been overwhelmingly negative due to poor management and unhelpful front desk staff. As someone who has served two tours, I often return home to find my apartment infested with various pests, from cockroaches, spiders, and scorpions. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of management, multiple times, I was met with indifference and was told, "this is not important." Additionally, a severe water leak caused significant damage to my apartment’s carpeting and walls, resulting in mold growth. The repairs took over four months, but even after that, the mold remained, and the carpet was left in ruins.
Over time, I’ve noticed a growing lack of accountability. Any issue that arises is blamed on technical problems, and management rarely takes responsibility for anything. I’ve also witnessed safety concerns in the complex, particularly involving unsupervised children. I've seen children running in front of moving cars, throwing rocks at windows, and even breaking the glass door to the gym.
Parking is another major issue. If you don’t arrive by 7:00 p.m., you are forced to park outside the gates, which is unsafe. My wife’s car was severely damaged when someone crashed into it while parked outside. Additionally, there is a particular turn within the complex where frequent collisions occur because drivers either speed or fail to stay on the correct side of the road.
To make matters worse, the towing situation is aggressive and predatory. It feels like the towing company is constantly looking for opportunities to remove cars for profit, showing little regard for the residents. Overall, this apartment complex has serious management, safety, and maintenance issues that make it a challenging and stressful place to live.
Note: Maintenance Staff is cool and the most helpful staff at this apartment complex. This review will not be used to show indifference to that select staff. Also, I wish I can show the damage to my wife’s car, but the pictures were deleted after the incident.

Literally worst place to live at. The elevator almost killed my partner and fell down a flight when she was in it. They towed my car with a DO NOT TOW sign on it. How idiotic is that. Trust me you can find somewhere better.

So i’ve only been here since june 2024
& truly regret moving out here! It’s like the people in the office don’t even care about the community it’s no way i have to keep complaining when I first moved in already put a bad taste in my mouth (moving in time got pushed back twice cause “cleaners” but knew what day i was moving in, careless office staff that don’t know how to communicate, dirty environment & ALWAYS HAS A SMELL!) trash stays in the hallways for weeks & has maggots, never & i mean NEVER have any parking plus your guest has to pay for parking if u move here u going to be paying your rent while you can’t leave your house or your not going to have any parking trust me it’s HORRIBLE & they also have spiders bad!! I’ve literally made the worst decision ever & definitely is not even thinking about renewing. Oh & today I couldn’t lock my front door cause they didn’t send out an important message to the residents about possible needing to update their key chip since they don’t use regular keys but i’m sure it’s a typical day at citadel. Wish you the best on searching for your home because this ain’t it!

I sent my wife in to tour for me since I have a hectic schedule during the week and I trust her judgment when it comes to properties. She went to tour the property and was told by Ryan that I needed to make a certain amount of income to be approved, he said to lie on the application, and put $37,000 a year, to make it “go through.”
Once my wife finished the tour she sat in the office for over an hour trying to fill the application out for me, while Ryan was so much in rush to leave got up and left her there while she had multiple questions through the process. Once she completed it and got to the payment the system bounced it back and we had to finish it at home.
The security of your personal information is not protected, a prior application was still open on this laptop and had to be closed out, if she was not such a caring and kind hearted person someone could of messed up there credit.
Anyways, we were told by Ryan to submit the application at home as we did and he will make the adjustments so it fits the application criteria. Once I got it done I gave him a call the next morning to let him know I put it in along with the $200 deposit. He said we did not get approved because of the income. Hmmmm funny you were supposed to fix that right.
He said I could send in pay stubs and have it reviewed and he will call back once he has an answer. An hour later I got a call from Arlene the property manager who left a voicemail saying I still did not get approved. I was $50 short under the requirement!
My wife had called Arlene a few hours later to ask about the deposit being refunded she continuously hung up the phone on her to where she had to bring me into the call. I was able to get the information from Arlene but she does not have very good customer service skills.
This is a very nice property for someone who does not care about how the community treats them. I would not recommended it to anyone but hey teach your own.

if I could give this place no stars I will a total scam and nothing but lies since I walked into the building I went to tour this place and it was absolutely gorgeous lets start with the leasing agent Ryan who filled us with so much false hope and took all our information and told us to apply after over and over I told him is he sure and did everything look approval ready as it was a 275 fee over and over told us yes even told us to lie on a part of the application and he will take care of the rest as we did trusting and only to be denied short of 50 dollars of the income requirements called and said he will still try to work something out just to never call back but for arlene to call rude and so unprofessional hung up the phone on me several times while trying to get information on when our 200 dollar deposit will be sent back to this day still no deposit sent back and no updates arlene whew is unbelievably rude I mean should absolutely be fired never in my life encounterd someone in management so rude didn't even wanna tell us a break down of denial or anything I would suggest to stay far away from this place absolutely scam artists

I moved here from out of town and I love the area! The apartments are beautiful. The staff are great people and make you feel welcomed. I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan, Bonnie, Ray and Arlene. The staff answer the phone quick and help you with whatever you need! I’d highly recommend you come and check out the apartments.

I love this place. It's been my home since I moved in San Antonio 2 years ago. The staff are always great, Bonnie, Ryan and especially Arlene is a very attentive and efficient person. Spacious apartmwnta. Maintenace works good. The pool is cleaned regularly. The apartments are comfortable. The dog park is great. Parking spots are a complicated matter, but I' ve never had any issues with towing. Cleaning of common areas could be improved. And I wished they had a playground or any space designed for kids. It's a great place to live, overall.

Honestly a really nice place. The only issue you might have is parking can get tight but i just paid for a garage. The people in the office like Ryan, Arlene, and bonnie have all been incredibly nice to me. Haven't had any issues with roaches or mice. Work orders are handled in a timely manor. Overall for the price i pay i think it is 100 percent worth it!

Recently moved in and the process was easy peasy. Ryan and Arlene were fantastic, and aided me throughout the whole move in. Close to tons of shops and easy access. Maintenance is super efficient. 5 Star complex.
