Worth the wait. We where on the waiting list for 8 months and it was worth the wait. The teachers are amazing and attentive with all the children. At the 2 previous daycares our son would come back with scratches from incidents with other children but that hasn’t been the case at all here. The teachers specifically in the mornings make sure that our son feels welcomed and loved every time we drop him off. He is not just another child at this place he feels like he belongs and we love it. The communication is also phenomenal, they are constantly sending email updates and sweet messages if a teacher is about to leave for things like maternity leave. Like I said worth the wait because all the staff really cares.

I put one star so that I am allowed to write. I made an appointment with them and they agreed with each other because we are an Arab, and it became clear to me that they do not want to work or teach children. The child wants to be ready and educated so that they do not torture themselves. I want to communicate with the managers or owners.

My son started at 6 weeks old, and the teachers have made it so easy. They are all very communicative and make it easy to address any concerns or changes with my son’s schedule.

We have had our daughter at Children’s lighthouse potranco for 2 years. They have amazing teachers and with their lesson plans we see such our daughter grow and blossom each and every day. Ms. Charlene is an amazing teacher and all of the teachers in Room 8 make each day great. We love Children’s lighthouse Potranco because they truly care for our child. They teach our children how to behave with manners, include prayer with meals, understand how to adapt to each little person, and they provide for the community through food drives and other outlets to help those that need it. This is so valuable to teach to our children while they are young. We love our teachers in Room 9. ❤️?

As a first time mom it’s very difficult leaving your child and returning to work but the staff at children’s lighthouse have put me at ease. My child has learned so much in his short time there. He’s happy to see his teachers and I truly appreciate the attentiveness they give him! I can’t say how grateful I am for you! Thank you!

Our daughter has attended The Children’s Lighthouse for four years and I can not say enough great thing about her school. We have never had a complaint about a teacher or situation. Daily activity reports, status updates and reminders-live security camera feed, if needed. The staff are truly A+ personnel, they know ever child by name and pleasant morning greetings even when our kids are giving us their worst. It’s truly a bitter sweet feeling that our girl will be moving on from TCLH Pre-K program. I could not have asked for a better daycare/advanced pre-k program than what TCLH has offered. Everyday our girl still enacts the roll of her teachers and how she will be a teacher when she grows up! All from her experiences from her time spent at The Childers Lighthouse!

The BEST daycare ever!!! Our daughter loved going and was never a fight for her to go to school! She talked about her teachers all the time and said she loved them! Also she is far advanced for her age and I give it all to this preschool!

I have had my 5 yr old at this school and she had very attentive teachers . Mrs Yvette truly cares about her kids and is amazing with the kids . Have my 6 month there now and his teachers are so attentive . Mrs. Marissa, Izzy and Bridget are so good with my son. They provide daily updates and photos on how he is doing throughout the day. I can work with the peace of mind that my son is in good hands.

My grandson had such a great experience here this year. He really came out of his shell, loved his teachers and learned so much. We wish we could take all of the teachers with us to the next location!Miss Charlene will always be special in our hearts.

The staff is the most caring and giving individuals I have ever come across. The love and care they show every child is truly wonderful. The peace of mind I have knowing that our daughter is being taken care of the way I would is something I would wish every parent could experience. If you want the BEST for you and your child I highly encourage you to enroll them in the only place I will EVER recommend to my family and friends.

Some people may have had better experiences, but for our child, this was a center with a lot of children piled into 1 room. There were 26 - 30 children in the 3 year old room and 32 students in the 4 year old room. The printouts that children in the 3 year old room work on are not developmentally appropriate because they are too small for their emerging writing skills. And there is a LOT of paper given out in the 3 year old room instead of focusing on them playing with manipulatives and art supplies in a meaningful way (think at least 4 printed or folded sheets per week). Their food policy was pretty restrictive. Only children with a documented food allergy could bring in their own food from home, even if your child did not eat their processed food for a whole week! There was an experience where a teacher singled out our child and had them work and sit alone for over 60 minutes in 2 centers rotations. As soon as I arrived, I addressed this unacceptable behavior. The next day, we submitted our 2 weeks notice that we would no longer need their services.Positives: The playgrounds look nice. Teachers are pretty consistent with coming in. They have cameras, which is how I saw my child sitting for 60 minutes alone and facing a wall.If you just need childcare, then you may not have an issue. However, if you want something more stimulating, I would recommend looking into other places. If you want authentic documentation of what your child did each day, this is not your place. In 3 months or so, I had 2 photos and 1 video. If you want your child to do letter and number work with play doh and water and fly swatters... or anything else that makes learning seem more like play and less like a worksheet, you may also want to look elsewhere.
