Best hood spot for homemade burgers, tex- mex, crispy dogs & finger foods. 1/4lb cheese burger combo is my go to for under $7 for a burger, fries & 12oz can soda. $8.75;if you switch soda gor a ice cold domestic beer. Westside definitely gots the hidden/ not hidden gems

This is an old time family favorite spot. They always have the best burgers made hot and fresh. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Not to mention they have a bar located in back. Been coming here for years. If you haven't given Cardenas a chance. I highly recommend it. It's a family owned business.

Let me tell you this store is so on point every one has them little stores in between there Neighborhood we'll Cardenas grocery treats there customers like family ..for real just t he other day was short on funds I walked up in there asked to make me a home made sandwiches with everything on them with Condiments x3 feed my family that's what matters today people ..by the way they make good fish plates go check it out for your self for those who are from San Antonio..thanks cardenas.till the next time .

Very good deluxe burger and then the owner recommended the carne guisada taco with cheese, that was very very good, I live pretty far but found this place on tiktok, I’m going to keep coming to try everything
