I seldom pray. It is for me a powerful tool I do not like to use unless my life is threatened. But I had to pray about this after a different Costco automotive shop recommended a transmission fluid change less than a year after that work had been done. Service providers, contractors and the like need to know that we are headed into hard times. They do one of two things when they conduct business. Either they add to the woes of a troubled people, or they bless someone simply by doing their job well and honestly.That is what it is about in the end, the integrity of the owner is always reflected in his workforce. I have not met the owner of this business, but I have met two of his employees. He is blessing the neighborhood and deserves all the business he or she can handle.All the work on my car was done by the same young man. That he was proud of his work was plainly evident. He's sharp minded and alert, and for the first time in ages, I am living a life in which the need to maintain my car is no longer a source of pain, but a blessing. And for that, they charged me nothing.If you're looking for an auto mechanic (an SAE certified technician to be exact), take it from one of the most honest Google reviewers alive, I found mine. You can't have him. I'm keeping the name secret, but he works at this shop.

I recently went there as a come back customer with an already diagnosed problem of my power steering. Well after MANY times of telling Cambridge NOT to do a diagnostic, they said they would not unless lights, bells and whistles were on, they would not do one. Well, they did! And when I decided to Not have the work done, they held my truck hostage and would not release it without paying $158.99!! But, I WAS able to get the work done for $700 instead of the $3,344 they wanted to charge me! Definitely NOT going back to do business with them Ever! FYI!!

You replaced a battery that did not have any thing to with the car not starting.This issue still remains intermittent will not start! We paid $383.60 for a new battery and your time.?Fixing other problems and not the reason the car was there in the first place smacks of incompetenceOr disreputable practices at this shop!The Cambridge brand is being damaged!Best in SA Antonio ? I can’t agree with that statement!I hope the owner sees this review.

I had an awesome experience here at Cambridge auto center. Had a GMC truck logo to be placed on my front grill of pick up truck. They lined it up for me very nicely and I love the new modification on my truck. Fantastic work.

Had a flat tire and it wouldn’t hold the air. Went by literally right at closing time. Asked if they could help me. Just put the spare on nice enough to stop what he was doing. Put on my spare and didn’t even want to charge me. Of course I tipped him, but he helped me and it was done in less than five minutes. Definitely gonna keep these guys in mind, thank you

I previously have positive experiences until today. I took vehicle in for a quote on a specific parts to be replaced for ac because i am attempting to sell car. I gave specific part that was affected because i know exactly what part was impacted from changing serpentine belt.. Was told I needed to get more tests done to fine other leaks... I advised exactly where the issue was that I needed fixed. I am looking for quote to make decision on car selling price. Was not given quote, and can't understand why I was not given the quote on replacing that specific part... taking vehicle elsewhere

If you want to get scammed this is the place.They told me it would cost $50 for a lugnut replacement, then they sawed into the wheel bearing, and told me it was unsafe to drive so I couldn't leave, and tried to charge me $500 dollars.We paid $250 since my girlfriend cried. Save yourself some money and go elsewhere. You can see the reviews dropped recently. They have the audacity to ask for a 5 star at the desk.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.Car was overheating and fan didn't appear to be working. Took vehicle here to have it repaired. Spoke with the front desk guy who appeared new and the guy training him seemed bothered that I had some questions. Was called back a few days later and they said my radiator hose had a leak and was going to need replacement (I had just had this part replaced). Gave them the benefit of the doubt. Was also advised to do oil change, air filter clean, and throttle body clean and was quoted about $1000 for everything. Said sounds good and to do it. Was called back again a few days later and new guy went over everything again and asked if I wanted the work done. I thought they were already working on the car since we had already discussed this and I told them yes. Guy now says that the radiator hose replacement is 1k and everything else is 1.9k... Questioned why they decided to divide the price up now and guy got all flustered. Told Cambridge to park my car. Still had to pay them $100 for a consultation fee.. I towed my car to a trusted mechanic my family has been going to since I was in diapers (would have done this originally but car broke down next to Cambridge). Hose didn't have a leak, needed a new fan. Payed 1.2k for new fan, coolant flush/ refill, oil change, tune up, spark plug replacement, throttle body clean, and air filter clean. Oh and, no consultation fee. Cambridge auto is a straight up scam. Just a building of misinformation, lackluster service, and greed. Don't take your vehicle here.

My experience was very bad and disastrous. They flushed brake system oil but then left cap on master cylinder unsecured not being fitted in place. If i had not checked later the cap would have flown off and would lead to loss of brake oil as well oil pressure leading to ultimate brake failure. It basically compromised safety if my car and me. Secondly they change engine oil for me there again they failed to check that drain plug needed a new washer and thus used old one. Well it started leaking oil at my driveway. Glad i was observant so saw oil puddle and took car back to them next day to leave car for over four hours to get it fixed. Their irresponsible repair could have seized my car engine resulting in costly repair or replacement of engine. No consideration to attend urgently such issues if it was being reported related to their latest repairs. Paid top dollars and spent two days to get this kind if worst service i got ever in my life. Would never go there again nor recommend anyone to go there. Their reviews were not as good either but i went to them since had to get my broken brakes repaired same day which no one else could do so had no choice to learn it was a bad choice.Services: Brakes

They fixed my AC so I guess it was worth it? They had my car two weeks for what should have been a weekends worth of work. Their reviews say they're great communicators but I guess I didn't get that service. They only ever called me twice; once to tell me they would give me a call the next day (which they never did) and once at the very end to tell me my car was ready. Every other time, I had to call them to get info. After I paid, I realized they overcharged me and had to have them void the payment. Maybe that's just the price of doing business with Cambridge Auto.*Beware the 30% charge if you pay with a card (they won't tell you upfront)

Quite simply, amazing service. Anthony James was incredible, getting my truck in same day my catalytic converters were stolen and kept me up to date throughout the repair process. If I could build a Time Machine, I would use Cambridge for all my past service work. We’ll done!

Took my vehicle here for AC repair. Though it took longer than expected, the vehicle is almost 20 years old, the staff was responsive and honest about the work that needed to be done.Anthony in particular did not speak to me like I was jst a customer he helped me understand the issue and what issues needed to be addressed.Location is good and the waiting room is comfortable and quiet (please fix the remote controller to allow customers to change the channel and not be subjected to just daytime talk shows lol)Clean restroom, free popcorn (really good), and other pleasantries make this place comfortable.Service: Air conditioning

Cambridge brought our 2011 Jeep back to life! They worked endlessly with our extended warranty to get as much covered as possible. They replaced the engine and ran test after test to make sure all was working. They kept us informed and communicated well throughout. I drove my Dodge Ram in, they wkd on it for 2 weeks and I had to PULL it home.1st I told them it was the crankshaft sensor and it didn't help.2nd they said it was the MAP sensor and it didn't help.When I paid at that point it was over $600.3rd they then said it was the distributor.At that point it had been 2 weeks and I kept telling them we were on the way to Minnesota and to just forget. Well they wanted more $ and I told them they HAD NOT FIXED it, so why are you charging more. If anything they should give me my money back.I drove 500 miles to get my other pickup and l left the truck in San Antonio.
