I chose to use this company because they gave me the best quote for a simple furniture move. After using the vehicle and returning the vehicle, it just went downhill from them. All kinds of hidden fees not mentioned during checkout or during the quote, and I was charged the refueling fee even after filling the tank up. They also emailed me trying to say I never returned the vehicle and threatened me with more fees, until I gave them specific date and times then they all of a sudden “completed the checklist”. Just a poor experience. At first I was quoted $140, which seemed very reasonable, then upon picking up the rental, they add a $38 insurance, which I guess was reasonable but felt it should’ve been mentioned when making the reservation. My final bill was around $280 with all these hidden bogus fees. Just do yourself a favor and go with UHaul. Just avoid this headache

Do not give your business to this company there’s. TikTok video about this location where an older woman was treated poorly by Vanessa calling her names and aggressive, always check reviews before giving your money to people who are poorly trained.

It’s a little hard to find. Auto Zone is the land mark. The Budget Truck rental is next to autozone. They share the same office as the auto zone service center. Do inspect the truck before leaving, and check for any previous damage. 12’ is the smallest truck that they have, the cost is the same as the cargo van.

Bait and switch, day before my rental I was sent an email stating the vehicle was not available offering a 12-ft box truck at a higher weekly rate plus insurance. I rented a cargo van because my insurance covered a van but not a box truck. Serrato’s replacement offer was about $300 more than the original reservation, they would not negotiate the price. Very disappointed, would not recommend.

Tried to Rent a truck through their online service and paid for it with my credit card online. Drove to the location to pick it up and was told they had no truck available for me. Asked if I could cancel my reservation at the Budget location and was told I could only cancel my reservation online. I will not be renting from them again in the future.

If I could rate below zero I would. Budget is one of the worst truck rental companyOn July 26, 2022, I picked up a 26’ Budget rental truck at Serrato Enterprises INC located at 7680 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. Which had been reserved for six months for a round trip to travel to Connecticut for a wedding and back to Texas. I paid $6860.00 for the rental truck on my credit card.Unfortunately, the truck did not perform well because the truck broke down in less than 24 hours in our possession. First incident happened when the tired which was bald blew out in the highway same day. It took the roadside assistance until the next day to replace the tire. Soon after the truck broke down. I immediately reached out to raise a complaint to your company along with others who were affected by this incident, and no resolution were provided. We expressed the urgency of having the truck fixed or replaced immediately as the product in the truck were for a wedding scheduled that week and we still received no resolution until Friday July 29,2022 in the evening when the company finally decided to provide a replacement truck. During the transfer of my luxury wedding furniture from the broken-down truck into the new truck multiple damages were caused to my furniture that are not repairable. Moreover, my driver was left stranded with the truck.As a result, the furniture for the wedding were never delivered. The truck had to turn back around and return to Texas because it would not have made it in time to CT. Moreover, your company refused to refund 100% of my money nor provide any compensation for the damaged they have caused to my furniture or to the driver who was left stranded. There were so many people that were affected by this incident because the company would not provide me with a replacement truck in a reasonable time. A wedding was ruined, and I lost wages.

Will shall see if things go okay Monday morning. I'm a bit frustrated that the call center told me I could drop off a car at a Truck only rental location and that the Maps has them listed at open today, yet there was so staff there at all for me to discuss things with. For example I rushed to get over there before the supposed closing time. I had to choose between getting there on time vs. getting fuel. Also the fuel was not full as noted during my pickup in Florida. Leaving a good review for now because hopefully that will have some understanding about this. Also the location in Florida didn't ding me for being slightly under on the fuel for my last rental. So praying they give me a break and are not too strick. Especially considering that this is the second rental I have received that could have been a lot cleaner. Oh and the hood was vibrating and lose because of how much excessive leafs and build up was under the hood and the gross amount of neglect from previous renters and the lot tech's that failed to notice or fix this issues. A simple vacuum under the hood could have prevented some significant vehicle damage. The lot tech in Naples Florida did pop the hood to add fluid. However he completely overlooked something that was glaringly obvious.

There was one person that working it was slow to rent the truck they didn't have my reservation for the second time in two days and the truck they gave me ,the passer side mirror is broken and will not stay out it's un usable I'm not impressed so far

Rented a 12’ truck in San Antonio to drive to Trinidad, CO. The truck has serious front end problems causing the truck to fishtail for 14 hours. In wind I was using both lanes. When I called to see if we could get a new truck I was told I would have to unload and reload on the side of the road. The AC didn’t work either. When I asked corporate for a partial refund, they offered me $10! Never again will I rent from Budget.

Ordered a 12’ a month in advance no issues. When we went to pick it up they didn’t have any 12’ trucks and had to upgrade us to a 16’. No big deal. After we pay the guy comes back and says they can’t rent to us and we have to call Customer Service to find out why. I called and was transferred to EIGHT DIFFERENT REPS in a 50 minute time frame before I was told I have to hang up and call a different number. Don’t waste your time.

Resevered a truck over a week in advance. Hours before pick up they called to say the truck wasn't available. Had me call customer service to find another truck. Customer service never called back.

They do not put a hold on your card. They charge you the 150.00 than refund you difference within 5-7 days. He told me to drop off keys in box...why..to charge 10.00 for that. He could of just told me to walk the keys in.. They were still opened. Yes they r going to refund me because i called 1-800 number due to local office not answering phone. Needless to say i rather book through Uhaul..much better experience. A hold and a charge is completely different. I am not sure why they are allowed to say or do that, very misleading!
