Early Childhood Intervention via Brighton was a massive help for my son's social development — something that has been challenging between him having a single father, and being a "COVID baby" and only child. He made significant strides, and it was incredibly helpful that occupational therapists and speech therapists could come to my residence and have one-hour sessions. This was really the only feasible way to do things given I work a full-time job from home. A big shout-out to Nancy, Ms. B, and Gabby. Thank you.

Throughout my son’s time in Brighton Center’s ECI he received physical, speech, and ss therapy.He had 2 physical therapists, Marissa and Kelsey (whom he was assigned to the majority of the time). Both are very knowledgeable and great teachers. They took the lead during their hour long therapies. They educated me on how to best help my son meet his milestones. They demonstrated what I should do with my son until the next therapy time. Then, followed up to measure my son’s progress. Kelsey helped my son meet and exceed his milestones. I highly recommend physical therapy for your newborn or toddler with Kelsey of Brighton ECI.After about 6 months of Speech Therapy, my son was not progressing. I shared my concern with our SST. They pressured me into giving my son’s speech therapist more time to work with my son. I obliged and it was at the expense of my child’s development. After giving our speech therapist a year to work with my son, I finally felt comfortable enough to tell her I felt like my son wasn’t progressing. She understood that it wasn’t personal and helped me change our entire care team with help from her superior. Praise to this speech therapist who did what was right for my child. From there, we met Angela (the absolute best) and Emily (will make sure your child meets goals) whose speech therapy style and strategies helped my son to progress.Through that experience, I learned that only I can advocate on behalf of my child.My son’s NICU arranged certain doctors, specialists, and therapy companies to provide care for him upon discharge. I wish I understood then that it was not mandatory to use those arranged providers. I wish in 2021 when I was told to “give people (my son’s speech therapist) a chance” that we ceased all services with Brighton then. I hope no families experienced what we experienced, SST has been phased out, and speech therapy services have improved for the children in Bexar county’s sake. Please choose your child’s therapy services carefully. Keep in mind Brighton is one of many therapy service options, not the only therapy company in San Antonio.

Brighton has been a part of our lives for 5+years and we have loved having our kids here. The teachers are always meeting our kid’s needs and helping them enjoy learning. I believe our kids are smarter, and socially and emotionally thriving because of the education and environment Brighton provides. You won’t find a better place of teachers who truly love your child like their own. We appreciate the open communication the staff provides. As well as providing opportunities for parents to be involved.

I kept wandering why my grandson after 3 days at the daycare needs to spend his fourth sick, whether it is cold, fever or stomach issues. Recently he has been on oxygen support and spent more than a week at the hospital with multiple viruses attacking his system at once. Today, I found out why. On this foggy and wet day, kids were playing outside on a wet playground, with wet toys, being all wet themselves. Every single one of their clothes were wet and one kid was even barefooted. Kids are still young to realize the consequences of these conditions and this is complete fault of supervisors and teachers. I immediately took my grandson back and brought him back home so that he wouldn't struggle with another illness caused by this negligence. I'm sorry for the parents and kids who might get sick because of this hence I'm leaving this review to raise the awareness of what's going on. Because of their no photo policy, I cannot attach any proof and for anyone seeking it, they do have cameras and the footage of today's actions can be retrieved.

Emailed, called and left voice messages to try to enroll my kid. No one has ever called me back. Definitely glad I didn’t enroll my kid!

My experience with Brighton started when my child was 6 weeks old. She has eci services then we used the sess advocates..lovely people and wonderful organization.

Horrible!!! They promise you they will help you w ard and etc. schedule you a meeting tell u to miss work for the meeting and then never get meeting because they didn't process payment. Now I'm out of work money and still have no help
