My family used to go here for our BBQ meats. We really liked the quality of meat. I tried to go here a few times and I think it's closed to the public now. I find it a shame because I would drive way across town for their quality meat.

I didn't rate because they are not open to the public anymore. I understand they only sell to restaurants and now I'm being you have to go to Borne to buy meat. So not sure what's going on.

I love this place but it seems they aren't going to reopen if not they need to let the people know. I've been waiting over a Year for them to reopen

Great assortment of fresh meats & spices. A San Antonio tradition & icon for its spices. No other meat market is quite like this one, as it serves food, too, and is family owned & operated. They have meats that you can't get elsewhere & the quality is top notch. Lots of spices to try, also. You definitely have to try it, stop by Monday-Saturday, 6:30am-1:00pm, closed Sundays. (Abbreviated hours for now.)

Good ol’ Bolner’s Meat Market first opened its doors (at 2900 South Flores in Lone Star) in 1914 - 106 years later (on April 3, 2020) it closed its doors “until further notice” ‘cause of the Covid - and every time I pass by this neat ol’ building in this neat old neighborhood with so much history (a true legacy business in every sense of the word), I wonder if they’re ever going to reopen? I miss them and it would be a great sadness if they remained closed forever - the old neighborhood just doesn’t feel the same without ‘em.

Bolner's provides the best quality & select cuts of meat. Great atmosphere with a large selection of seasoning/spices and dry goods as well. Great to know that it remains in the community!
