So i'm very confused about somethi was just recently Let goBecause they say attendance Which I don't understand what you're talking about. Because I was sick with food poisoning the last three Days I drove about 2 hours two and from work to notify them. Because my phone wasn't working I even told them when I got there. My phone is not working. So I drove over There to let them know I was sick, they said. Ok sent me home and hope you get better soon... And then they wanna say I was taking my lunch break too long when it was them. Who made me late to clock in. I came into the front so I could go clock in. I had plenty of time still but it took them about 10 to 15 minutes To even let me in cause. They assumed that I didn't work there. So so apparently you can't call And if you're sick cause that's gonna count against you.. And don't even bother Going outside, maybe you have to go to the front. Then you're gonna be late and it's gonna be counted against you.... So I am still in a complete and utter loss of words. And I was a damn Hard worker and I got stuff done. This is very disappointin in a facility that would do that to their employee... And making their employee feeling unwelcome and Following me around Asking twenty questions Like if I was some kind of criminal...makes me sick

They treat the people that work for them terribly. That is the contract workers, of which most people are. If a manager berates you in front of their manager it is ignored. When reported to the contracting agency you are asked what you can do differently. After 6 months the abuse was enough. I worked in 2016 and honestly, I through all the spices away with their brand, no matter how good. I was threatened with violence and it was ignored. I was called a liar for no reason or proof of a lie. I was called a liar for completing my work quickly. Just a trash employer and yes the warehouse is trash too. No temperature control and the restroom, if you can use it is in the garage. Also, a monthly required luncheon is your reward. If I wanted rice and beans and meat chunks I would not eat it there, I would go to a restaurant. The food was sickening and the crowd in the room was sickening. Don't forget that it is family owned and all of the family are the managers and all of the employees are Hispanic. Very unfortunate dynamic and a very unfortunate culture for a company that has a good product.

TERRIBLE place to work!! For one the HR are people are really sneaky they will smile in your face then fire you behind your back!! Also the place is nasty inside they got rats running around the warehouse and don't even bother to fix the problem! I went in undercover as a employee in reality I own a Podcast were I go around exposing big company's and this is by far the worst one yet I got it all on video!! Shut this place down Osha!!

Terrible place that exploits its employees and the unhoused/low income community. I hope these big companies that do business, H‑E‑B looking at you, with them reconsider their relationship and instead support a local business that contributes to the community by providing stable jobs with benefits in a supportive environment. They could be an amazing company but they are stuck on practicing nepotism and don’t want to be better for the community.**Typical canned response without supporting evidence. Please do yourself a favor and read the other comments regarding their employment practices and how they treat other humans. The fact is they use temps to fill any and ALL gaps in labor so they don’t have to pay people a fair rate. They directly contribute to the exploitation of workers by using temp agencies so they don’t have to deal with people on a human level. If you ask anyone that actually works there if they are proud to be there and the answer is a resounding NO.

I really wish people were able to see the inside of the warehouse. And how the treat their employees. Racism at its finest. The warehouse is horribly outdated. No are circulation no controlled temp. When it hot it's, it's inhumane hot. And when it's cold it beyond cold. It extremely dark and dirty. They don't train very well and have recently had a employee lose his finger due to lack of training. Supervisor makes it very clear that the company has a team of lawyers and they will use them. Im not sure if that’s a scare tactic for what your about to see in the warehouse. Wish someone could take pictures and video so that public is aware of this place. But they go above and beyond to make sure u don’t sneak ur phn in. Smh

They block visitors to their website if you don't have an American IP address. When I used a VPN with a US IP address, it worked fine.They deliberately block non-Americans from visiting their website, yet have the nerve to sell their products overseas. Obviously they think they're too good for us non-Americans, who don't deserve to know what they put in their substandard products.

This is a San Antonio institution and anyone on here complaining about this product is an idiot or has never cooked. This stuff is up there with Zaderan’s or Tex Joy. It’s fantastic! People complaining about working there should find another job, but it has zip to do with the product. Stop complaining and go back to Meeeheeeekoo

I lastly used Jalapeno salt over 10 yrs ago. Being unable to find it in any outlet while living in FL. I ordered on line and received a product totally different than that which I was looking for While it was salt and heat there was NO jalapeno flavor what so ever. The recipe has been changed, and not for the better. I was planning to bring the bottle to our nearby Latin Market and ask to have it stocked. Not now. This is a truly inferior product. Such a shame, as it was truly a favorite.

Started Working there on January 11th & my daughter started March 1st. So far we have great team & supervisors are super helpful. 3 months have gone by so fast. I love it.
