I have two or three reviews posted for Bolado's. The initial was true. I would have rated them a "zero" star if the system would allow it. After posting Manny of Bolado's made an impassioned plea to work out the issue and do the repair work he promised after talking to this alleged lawyer. He asked me to rewrite the review and we would work out the problem. He later told me that he and John Molina, a retired friend who L had loaned my 2011 KIA Rio to, were "going to teach me a lesson in "using people." He claimed that I had cheated Mr Molina out of the Rio which I loaned to him for two years. He only had to pay me the cost of the insurance which I have with USAA. He felt that he had paid enough to get ownership of the vehicle. He stopped paying the insurance and USAA and SAPD advised me I still owned the vehicle so take it back. I did so in January 2024. I got it inspected with the title and decided to take it on the road to Las Vegas. He went to TX DMV got a bonded title behind my back. He reported the vehicle stolen and I was stopped, cuffed, treated as a criminal in my own car. The TX DPS took possession of the vehicle. I had to stay in a hotel, take a bus to Midland to rent a car to go to my VA appointment in Las Vegas, return the rental, have a friend pick me up to return to San Antonio. The Judge in the case reversed the decision and restored my title to the vehicle. Bolado's claim I left the truck for storage purposes when in fact I showed the SAPD Officers that the five major repairs had not happened. They replaced the radio antenna and that is it. I have a court date set to resolve this issue. I still have no access to my vehicle or able to verify the "alleged" breaking of my vehicle, because when I was allowed to inspect the outside by SAPD, there were no indication of a breakin. I have had to delay medical appointments and the stress is wearing down my health as a Hear and Liver Transplant Survivor. HOWEVER, there is still a GOD in the heavens and JESUS Christ is watching!

Out right lies on painting practices, poor customer service, job took two weeks longer than expected, terrible workmanship quality. Peeling and flaking within 2 months. Had to pay someone else to strip and paint it correctly. Avoid Balado at all costs, don’t waste ur money.2nd:Add poor record keeping practices to that list of horrors!

great service, very responsive, they did an excellent repair job, communicated with my insurance w/ no problem, even offered advice on DIY repair on my wife's car.

Amazing experience. Had my car done within the week. Great communication, amazing work. My car was hit while it was parked. Wasn't sure what to do. Called dealership and was recommended to this place. They helped me with everything every step of the way. Dealted with the insurance for me and called with updates. Worst place to take ur car for a repair. they just seems to replace small dents lol. They didn't help me to fix the structure to have the door aligned.

I've been taking my vehicles here for the last 10 years they do tremendous work wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone they're very good at working with your deductible

After a car accident, my car was taken to Bolados. John was very friendly and helped me with the process of repairing my car. They fixed it in a timely manner and my car was ready within the time frame given. Owner made sure everything in my car was ready even before I left.Service: Auto body & trim replacement

Had a nice experience at this shop. Locally owned and operated, they were very friendly and fair with their prices. I went to see what was wrong with my car. Apparently I was leaking coolant and they repaired the water pump for me and fixed a few other things that were not correctly repaired from previous mechanics. Would definitely recommend them to anybody!

I went to Bolado's because I had a car accident and they replaced the entire front end of my vehicle. It literally looked better than before I had the accident. They worked extremely quickly and were very pleasant. They even gave me a ride home when I had to leave my car there. The price was fair and I feel like I got more than my money's worth! Will be returning for all of my vehicle needs. Very trustworthy.

Stopped by this shop just to check them out not intending to get service so impressed and although I live 40 miles away I put my car in for body repairs they did a fantastic job John was excellent as a service advisor and got my car back a day early.Services: Painting
