Michael was such great help and very knowledgeable, the customer experience is what made us decide on returning and purchasing bikes from him. I highly recommend Trek and making it your first stop on your bicycle search. The service guy (I feel terrible that I can’t remember his name) was also amazing and quick on building my bike. I definitely feel like my bike would be in good hands if anything needed to be done to it. Thank you again for all of your help!

Purchased 4/29/2023 Sales Person Micheal Grandys Assembled by Tony. Trek District 4 US Medium Frame Color Lithium Gray. After doing homework on bicycles online and other models decided to go local because I got to test ride before buying. I went to several local shops but I got the best service here on the Southside of San Antonio. Love this Bike low maintenance needed all good at this time. I’m impressed with how quite this bike is. The Gates Belt System is smooth the Alfine 8 Hub is Wow! I’m baffled why these bikes are not more popular. I think it’s because low to no maintenance needed. Anyway back to my purchase when I paid for it they promised and delivered. I like that and appreciate!

Terrible and insulting. I was happy to finally have a Bike World location closer to me, and immediately headed over to the SE Military location for some much needed repairs once I discovered their location about 10:30am during the week. As I walked into the store, I was impressed by the use of space of the building and easily identified the service counter. I headed to the shop stools in front of the service counter and that’s where I remained for the next 20 or so minutes. During that time, I watched 3 male employees service bikes, compare notes on the register, and basically pass time. The 4th employee, a female, spent her time checking her phone and trying to find something to dust in between her trips to the service register for sole employee chat. All the while, I never received one greeting, acknowledgment, or even an eye exchange. I sat there watching all 4 employees COMPLETELY ignore my presence from 10 feet away. I finally decided to leave after a female customer walked in and immediately was helped followed by the associates acknowledging their UPS driver. After feeling insulted, I stood up and walked out telling the female associate, “ 4 employees on the floor and not one is willing to help me.”

Bought a Trek Marlin 6 at Southside Bike World. Great place for awesome Trek bikes and accessories. These are not your Academy, Wal-Mart or Target bikes, but if your looking for good smooth riding bikes, Trek bikes are a good brand to consider. They are pricier but you will feel a difference in your ride.

Very chill environment but also very knowledgeable about specifications on equipment. You don’t feel pressured into buying right away and they don’t try to sell you something that is higher priced. I went in for a low end Trek and after about 30-1hr I was out with my new bike. Looking forward to taking it to the trail tomorrow for the first time. Would recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a bike. Very outstanding customer service. ??
