After receiving poor customer service at another PNC location, I walked into the De Zavala location because I had had a good experience with them in the past, and I can happily say that my experience today was positive again. Initially, the gentleman that greeted me seemed confused about what I was asking but another gentleman, Jon, stepped up and gave clarification and politely directed me to the bank teller. The bank teller was quick and friendly. I appreciated the excellent customer service at this location. Kudos to them on being a welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly branch.

Margaret who works at Thousand Oaks Branch came to work at DeZavala was such a joy and she completely went above and beyond to treat me as a human first then a customer. This branch is lucky to have such a beautiful and considerate person. I definitely recommend people like Margaret and will be doing business with PNC Bank for years to come!

Be careful when making deposits at this branch, they frequently make mistakes and deposit it to another account, that is, to one not indicated. The work team leaves a lot to be desired, letting things just happen.

5 HOURS. Update Hour 4 now. Updating to say its now been 3 HOURS. --Been on hold for over an hour now. Not a word beforehand besides the automated message saying it would only be silence. If it's this bad on an average Tuesday I can't even imagine how bad it gets when there's problems.

Where the security at when your dealing with irate customers during this merge?? I'm standing in line waiting to get help like everyone else and this man walks in like nothing and cuts infront of me. Not just me but 2 other people behind me. He flicked me off yelled and cussed me out and instead of kicking him out they assisted him before anyone of us.

Definitely needs some turn around here. Lots of inexperienced tellers and desk officers. Manager here is truly not a person for the customer.

Need $100 ... They had a nice little incentive of $100 that they give you if you sign up for a new account with direct deposit, yes, you get it a couple months down the road but still nice incentive! Ask for Ms. Olga, she was very helpful and had so much good information on what services they offer. They go by appointments and don't forget to ask about the $100 direct deposit incentive, hope they still have it! It's a great place to go for your banking needs.

BBVA has been talking about expanding their presence in San Antonio and versus spending resources on MORE locations, they should invest in the resources they currently have. The ATM at the location over off Dezavala had an issue where the display wouldn't come on. I remembered seeing an ATM in Huebner Oaks come to find out it does not accept deposits and what did I need to do? Of course, deposit. So I ended up finding this location and the people in front of me were rummaging around their car dropping stuff everywhere and over 10 minutes later they finished their ATM transaction. Maybe instead of more physical branches, work on more satellite ATM locations and allow those locations to take deposits. Outside of Randolph Brooks this is the only bank I've ever been with that does not allow deposits at all of their ATMs and that was one of the main reasons I left RBFCU. Also worth noting, there was about a two week period where I couldn't log into the app. It would tell me my username and password were incorrect even though I could go thru the website and login fine. Then there was one week where even the website was down and they came out with an app update that fixed the app and the website was functional again. Deposits placed after a certain time period don't post until the next business day which when you're depositing cash is a very antiquated method of banking accountability.

This bank is clearly having staffing issues. I've been in line for 49 min with only one car in front of me. Absolutely ridiculous.

Worst service I’ve ever had at a bank. Was attended to by a man named Robert in the drive through. I was the only customer and he and a girl sat there staring like they couldn’t decide if they wanted to wait on me or not. Finally he did. I had to press the call button once or twice to wake them up. He greeted me rudely. He took about 10 minutes to cash a small check. I asked if he needed my acct number and he stated he did not. Several minutes later he said he did. Then he sends the money without an envelope. Without a word to me. Just felt like he was put off by having to lift a finger for me. I did ask his name and tell him to have a nice day.

BBVA Compass is an extraordinary bank. The customer service is great and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I was helped by Roshni Bhakta several times in person and on the phone and she always made the process simple and easy. Thank you guys so much for the hospitality.

You printed checks with my account number and gave them to some guy in Huebner. He paid his rent and when I saw his information in my account I was about to go to his apartment to ask him if he had made fake checks with my account number. But he had not done anything. It was you! You gave him those checks. Also, now I cannot see transactions for that compromised account anymore online! Why? With the current technology you can check that account number matches customer information when the teller requests the checks for the customer, when the check is about to be printed at the printing facility, when the check is about to be mailed, and when the check has been used and the scan is uploaded to the system. If part of the process is done in a subsystem you cannot trust and you do not want to expose any information that links customers and account numbers to those subsystems then you could at least check that account number matches customer info when the check is used and the scan is uploaded. That way customers do not have to perform this check manually with their crying eyes, as they see their hard earned money being used to pay the rent of some guy down the street.
