Been here atleast 7 times total because my dog had puppies last year and they’ve all gotten their shots and checkups here. Never an issue, until today. My dog had been vomiting and we suspected she ate something. We had an appt at 4, and arrived early. Dr. Forester came in saying our dog was in heat, and I asked if that caused vomiting? She laughed and didn’t answer my question. From that moment on she was rolling her eyes, scoffing whenever I asked questions, answering my questions like if I was a kid and treating me like a bother. She mentioned an X-ray and I asked how much extra that would cost and she said $150. I said I needed to ask my husband and she made a face then tapped her wrist and said “well time’s ticking”. Throughout the 5 minutes total we saw her, she mentioned they were fixing to close soon, time was ticking, “next time bring her in in the morning don’t wait til 4pm” and that they all had worked long days and wanted to go home. She talked more like how much of a bother it was we were there than what was wrong with my dog. She mentioned treating her symptomatically but that they were only open half a day tomorrow. I said “what’s that?” And she said “ we’re. Only. Open. Until. 12. “ I said no what’s treating her symptomatically? And she sighed. I paid $90 to sit there and get scolded for “letting my dog eat something” and get even more confused about what was wrong with her. Dr. Forester was so rude. They just lost a regular customer. I seriously can’t believe someone thinks it’s okay to talk to their patients like that.

If you have a sick cat there is no better place to take your baby than to Dr. Leland. As we millennials say, I would die 4 her lol. My cat has had the worst luck with vets that were either not as experienced with cats as Dr. Leland is or didn’t seem to care to actually investigate my cats issues truly unless she was gasping for air or at death’s door. Tiger is barely 6 pounds and has had chronic lung issues for years. 3 vets and 3 years of searching for someone who truly cared enough to actually try and save my cat and not let her condition continue to worsen with no hope. She is extremely thorough, constantly adding to her repertoire of knowledge on feline diseases, caring, thoughtful, and amazing at what she does. I really cannot write enough about her. She called me after reading a new book specifically about my cats symptoms from a local feline expert and we now have about 5 new things to try that not a single other vet ever once mentioned. And things I can do in her day to day environment as well to try to aid those more medically based things we’ll be attempting. She’s a very special vet and if you’re a smart cat owner you will take your baby to her.

My wife took out dog there today and after previous visits we had never had a problem with any of the Drs there but today Dr. Forester was very rude and wouldn’t give any real help to the questions my wife had today and made it seem as if we were being a disturbance to her to the point where she was essentially rushing my wife out of there.

The staff is always friendly and comforting. My dog, Whitney, is very complex when it comes to being around other animals and people when I am present. The staff knows this and has adjusted to make visits less stressful for us.

We know our three cats are well cared for by taking them to Babcock North Vet Hospital. We are pleased to have them taking care of our babies!

This is the all time # 1 vet in the state. Dr. Guerra is the Best. She has gone far and beyond for my dogs. She's treated my last 5 dogs and she has extended their lives for as long as they were happy and not in pain. I love this person, her love of animals is unbelievable. My last dog Molly had to go down, her heart was giving out. When it happened Dr. Guerra said to my Molly" I will remember you the day I die". I was so sad at losing my baby, but so touched by the love shown to her in her last moments.

Let me say....there is usually a wait for scheduled appointments HOWEVER the wait is far worth it. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive. Will not go to any other vet in San Antonio.
One of the vets called me off hours to check on our dog. Family!!!

These guys saved my dog's life. My dog ate some poisonous garbage and they told me how to make him barf so he would expell it all and it worked. I am forever grateful!

This place has been fabulous for many decades! They are so responsive to phone calls and attentive during appointments. I have 3 dogs I've been taking there for several years, but I remember my mother taking our family dogs there back in the 90s.

They find ways to keep you coming back frequently. Don’t think this is ethical.

I wanted to share my recent experience at this veterinarian's office. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming, which was appreciated. However, our interaction with the vet was disappointing. My wife and daughter felt uncomfortable due to the vet's unprofessional behavior, including making faces and displaying rudeness. Initially, there was a clear language barrier which complicated communication during the visit.
Towards the end of our visit, it seemed like the vet started to warm up a bit, possibly because she saw how much we cared for our dog. Despite this, the overall experience left us feeling uneasy and unsure about returning.

Treated our cat like garbage, kept her for 24 more hours than said bc they messed up scheduling of the vet causing so much trauma for our cat. They don’t care at all about your pets. When we brought up this they all hid in the back and were like “we gave you a discount” ya but those were for X-rays we didn’t ask for and gave them to us for free as a way to make amends but those showed nothing and we both had to take off time off work for two days in a row bc they messed up and still charged us on the high end of their “estimate”. Go elsewhere, we grabbed our pets records and will never go back to this vet. They lost all our confidence and I hope this review can warn you to go elsewhere. They didn’t care about our pet, they won’t care about yours.
